Growler at brewery. Pours cloudy golden with off-white foamy head. Moderate aroma of pine with citrus behind. Big bitter, hoppy, piney flavor carried by medium/big body with soft natural carbonation. Full and complex flavor profile evolves through well balanced middle tapering to an easy soft bitter end. Overall a lovely brew that invites you to savor every new sip. Fav.

Draft. Aroma of marmalade and toast. Sparkling lace. Flavor follows nose, with lots of bitter orange, a but of burnt bread crust and a hint of licorice that seems to clear it all away on the finish. Quite good!

Pours a completely hazed orange color, with a gigantic, stable white head. Offers a powerful hop variety, consisting of orange, lemon zest and a good amount of leafy grass. This gets topped off by a resinous note, revealing a whiff of sweetening wild honey, blending beautifully into bready, slighty biscuity malts. Out of this gentle aromas evolves a fantastic, exotic fruitiness, showcasing oranges in the most awesome way. Has a mild, medium carbonation with a soft mouthfeel, featuring an amazig, refreshing and intense hoppiness. Tastes of bready, soft malts, which get nestled, by fresh citrus, dank grass an utmost fruity orange. Underneath this hop impact the malts probably turn sweeter, this is just a guess though, as the hops perform the taste transformation completely on their own, beginning dank, while finishing resinous sweet with a tad of wild honey and sugared lemonade. Finishes with an amazig, luscious fruitiness, coated up by a prominent hop bitterness, creating a full, satisfying mouthfeel, bringing out an intense, perfectly build iipa.

Very solid DIPA, but I think it is overshadowed by some of the stuff they are doing in the 10r series.

12 oz. can poured into a pint glass. Beautiful straw color with a white head and good lacing. The downside is that there was a exhorbitant amount of sediment that I tried not to pour into my glass. I really only got about 3/4 of the can poured. Wonderful citrus hop aroma. Grapefruits dominate. The malts barely make it through. Smells like a west coast hop bomb. Good hoppy flavor to start, but it fades a bit. Not much midrange flavor. The late hop additions shine through, but I feel that it needs some more bittering hops. Maybe it doesnít have the malt backbone for it, because itís barely sweet at all. Overall a great flavor, though. Mouthfeel - The low malt character masks that itís a DIPA. Makes it very drinkable. If I had access to this more often, Iíd be all over it.

Can. Pours a very hazy, opaque orange with an inch-plus of white head that leaves behind a mess of lacing. Big aromas of ripe tropical fruit, mango, melon. Taste is similar. Juicy tropical fruit followed by a bitterness that builds and builds the more I drink it. Smooth, medium bodied, lasting bitter finish. Excellent.

Pours a cloudy peachy amber with one to two fingers of sticky white head. Hoppy aroma, citrus rind and mango upfront with some subtle oniony notes and a touch of spice/pine. Very sharp flavor, full bitterness and woody hop character. Very unbridled. Too much in the mouth. Lovely aroma but abrasive flavor.

Cloudy golden tan color with moderate white head. Extremely well balanced. Aroma and aftertaste could be improved. Overall very good beer ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Can: Hazy orange body with a semi-gray tinted, mostly white head that shows pretty good retention all the way down the glass. Aroma is stank-a-dank up front; heavy pine, grass, resin, & weedy pungency. Rivers of hop oil backed by some bitter citrus peel, orange & grapefruit rind. Herbal pepper on the back-end with not much malt to speak of in the nose. Flavor is largely ashy, piney, & bitter with the dankness & oily resin components toned down just a bit. Same with the citrus peel vibe; itís there, but slightly more muted. Malt comes out a bit more, too; hints of toasted bread, faint caramel, & some buttery crackers. Herbal leafage, white pepper, & zesty, ashy hop cones lead into a bitter finish with just a small touch of resin left behind. Really nice DIPA, though nothing to lose your marbles over.
