Growler at brewery. Pours cloudy golden with off-white foamy head. Moderate aroma of pine with citrus behind. Big bitter, hoppy, piney flavor carried by medium/big body with soft natural carbonation. Full and complex flavor profile evolves through well balanced middle tapering to an easy soft bitter end. Overall a lovely brew that invites you to savor every new sip. Fav.

[Can (12oz) c/o Glouglouburp] Pours a slightly hazy gold with some sediment and a large long-lasting frothy white head. Lacing on the glass. Really nice aroma of citrus hops & piney hops, a bit resiny as well and with tropical fruit. Flavour is also pleasant, lots of citrusy and fruity hops, nice and easy to drink a as well for a DIPA. Alcohol is well hidden. Long bitter finish. Medium bodied. A well made, enjoyable DIPA, well done.

In a can Thanks to Owen Hazy orange apricot color. Nice tight white head. Nose is candied citrus, that changes to dank candied pine and herbs. Taste is quite vegital and dank. Ver y bitter and aggressive with hints of sweetness. Easy to drink for the large amount of dankness in this. Drinks lower than what it is. Very good DIPA

Draft at Birch Hill Tavern. Pours hazy apricot color with pretty, large-bubbled head. Aroma is very pleasant with dank hops, light tropical fruit, and citrus peel--nothing out of the ordinary but fresh and juicy and smellable. Taste is much drier and aggressive, in the direction of Heady in terms of pine and sweet malts but dialed back, with sweet orange and mango. Very drinkable for the ABV. Excellent.

Smell is floral fruity, fresh grape, pear, tea. Orange glowing bright pour. Taste is piny, lightly bitter and syrupy. Fruity and not overly bitter. Just not crazy about the style anymore at all bit this is a nice DIPA.

Growler courtesy of Greg, thank you!! Pours a vibrant yellow-gold. Nice two finger frothy white head. Very fine lacing. Sexy beer. Aromas are just a bouquet of hops! Fresh cut flowers, peaches, light pine.....I could probably go on with adjectives, but really, this aroma is so inviting! Everything you would want out of a fresh DIPA. Taste is incredible!! Perfect balance of hops (that bouquet in the aroma is amplified in the taste) and malt sweetness. Wave after wave of hop flavors settled on my palate. The tropical fruit upfront...mango, peach, apricot, pear....the slight pine resin and sap across the middle...then some very moderately bitter hops into the finish. Slight grapefruit tartness but no real bite. Finishes perfectly dry and clean. A mild bread, earth and herbal backbone help keep the mouth feel/flavor balanced with all the hops going to work on your palate. Medium carbonation...nice and lively beer. This was one of the best, if not the best Double IPA’s I have had. Severely under-rated beer, in my opinion.

On draught at the Blue Tusk last November. Light amber with a creamy white head. Smooth and tropical, some citrus, fresh, bitter and slightly resinous. Amazingly easy to drink, not too bitter at first but builds to a bitter crescendo with a long finish that keeps on giving as it dries out the palate. Mmmmm.

Can. Poured super hazed yellow orange with splashy white head. Smell is tangerines, sweet candy hops, touch tropical. Taste show lots of sweet citrus, sweet light malts, orange peel. Soft palate that is not overly bitter. For a dipa this could be drank in large quantities.

This one poured a lighter orange color with an off white head. ARoma was of citrus, pine and light tropical notes. Flavor was similar, fairly light for a DIPA which is nice, and better than I was expecting.

Thanks to the girl behind me in line at DLD for letting me try some of this. I hope to get more some day. Zesty citrus aroma. Clearish orange pour with a white head. Super balanced and aromatic.

64 oz growler, huge thanks to Derek our regular at CK for sharing this! Cloudy, orange colored pour. Nose and flavor remind me of a combination of Heady Topper and OTWOA, but smoother than both; great scallion, onion, bitter white grapefruit rind, and lemongrass, with a bitter but still soft and unobtrusive finish. Booze is there in the body, but not hot or overwhelming in any way. I like.
