4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 jrallen34 (3463) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAR 28, 201112oz can into a tulip...Dark gold pout with lots of head that has incredible retention but no lacing at all. the beer itself is not appealing, not drinkable looking...The aroma is light for a dipa but really nice. The almost perfect amount of pine hops and alcohol, not at all strong but gives off what you are looking for in a dipa. Not a ton going on complexity wise, but wets my palate...The taste is a touch down, the hops aren’t as smooth comes off a little more harsh. again its a little bit of a one noter. Wish more was going on...The feel is pretty nice very sticky and this is an easy drinker.
A lighter and smooth dipa, but nothing that wows you. Worth trying if your around it

Big thanks to cosmicevan for sending a few cans of this my way. Served in a Funkwerks snifter.
A: Pours a hazy orange color with a frothy white head forming on the pour. It recedes to a thick ring that leaves some sticky and soapy looking lace.
S: Grapefruit with some mild honey dew melon. A little orange with sweet bread malts. Nice citrus notes with a great malt backbone.
T: A little more maltier on the palate, but there’s a nice bitterness that counteracts this. Grapefruit, some citrus rind, candied lemon and some mild resinous bitterness.
M: Medium to light bodied with a slightly bitter finish. Medium carbonation level with a slightly dry texture.
O: Really nice. Easy drinking, nice balance of flavors. Coming in a can is a plus for sure as well.
Serving type: can

Slutfest. Light gold, slight haze. Light citric aroma. Flavor is about the same. Not nearly as big as was expecting or hoping for. Loved the name and logo - wish the beer had held up to it.

Pours a hazy orange/lt amber color with a medium off white head. Aroma has light orange and stonefruit notes of mango and peach...some passionfruit. Flavor has some passionfruit as well as some spicy and piney notes...a bit of malty sweetness. Mouthfeel is medium and the finish is very earthy/resinous bitter and dry.

12oz can thanks to jrand2621. Pours a murky orange color with a thin white head. Aroma is all citrus (pineapple, grapefruit, orange) with some caramel maltiness. Taste is well balanced, but really bitter. Oranges, pineapple, grapefruit, and lemon.

very cloudy and golden with small white head and decent lacing, good citrus, floral and pine in nose. Malt does not get in the way but there is enough to make the beer bidimensional (hay/cereal). Body is medium. The 4 pack at 8.4 abv per would go down rather easily. Can only says 3 types of hop without specification. I think cascade and simcoe are two of them.

Can (12 oz). Thanks to Tom! Hazy orange with a frothy off-white head and good lacing. Aroma is fruity with citrus (orange, grapefruits, apricots) and piney notes. Taste is moderately malty with citrus (same as aroma), caramel, slight sweet/sugary notes and pine. Moderate but sticky bitterness. Alcohol is well hidden. Refreshing and drinkable. Very good.

Dark orange color..can pour..slight white head..fairly hazy with small suspended particles..just picked up in ct..pretty fresh..canned it looks like 1/13...aroma is quite remarkable with mango..nectarine..apricot..bit of pine as well..bit of wet grass/ hay..taste is more of the same..a good representation of the nose..nectarine..fresh squeezed citrus dominant..rounded out by some sweet caramel notes..moderate amount of bitterness that lingers some on finish but isn’t overpowering..finish is really solid..absolutely no trace of the high abv..this is extremely smooth and deserves the kudos it gets for one of the better 2ipas out there..east coast..west coast..doesn’t matter this is quite well done from New England brewing..
