Viking_Hammer (289), Lynnfield, Massachusetts, USA Jul 6, 2007 Opaque black with a dark brown head. Roasted chocolate aroma. Full of coffee, chocolate, caramel, fruits, with the perfect amount of bitterness. Big full mouth feel. One of the best stouts I have ever tried. stevemay55 (3), Cheshire, Connecticut, USA does not count Mar 12, 2007 First tasted at New Haven real ale festival, then with the name storm trooper stout. It was the talk of the festival- the force was with it. Full bodied, perfectly carbonated, with chocolate malt flavor up front. Flavor is as deep as the color. Best imperial stout I’ve ever had. ubamartian (149), Watertown, Wisconsin, USA Mar 3, 2008 Pours Thick black with a good tan head. Aroma is of coffee, chocolate, roasted malts and some alcohol backing. Flavor is a great complex blend of the roasted malts, cofee, and chocolate, with a bit of dark fruits underneath. Feels smooth on the palate and a bit lighter than I expected. Aftertaste of good roasted malts and coffee / chocolate, with a good bittering from the hops. Excellent stout. Thank you brewblackhole for sharing this! scraff (1632), Baltimore, Maryland, USA Jun 2, 2007 Updated: Jun 30, 2008Dense black, dark tan creamy head. Rich nose held notes of deeply roasted coffee, milk chocolate, red licorice, molasses, and lightly smoked blackberry. Similar in flavor with loads of roasted coffee, berry cream, touches of burnt chocolate. Full bodied and smooth, soft carbonation, bittersweet finish. Fantastic stuff from these guys. A bit spendy at $7 / bottle, but certainly glad I tried the one... DragonStout (1143), Orlando, Florida, USA Apr 17, 2007 Thanx to jjpm74 for this awesome beer. Wow this beer was great.
