On tap at the brewery. Pours cloudy golden with a lacy, white head. Aroma of floral hops, light fruits especially apple and banana in a good way, and pale malts. Flavor about the same. Average texture. A good saison.

In short: A yeasty and slightly spicy blond Belgian ale with a refreshing wheaty flavor. Good beer.
How: Growler shared by Ernesto at post-HF Harvest 2012 party.
The look: Cloudy yellow-blond body topped by a medium white head with medium retention.
In long: Nose is lemony and wheaty with a certain yeastiness sensation. Taste is loaded with wheaty cereals, smooth wheaty acidity, dried straws, a bit grainy, some lemon zest, strong yeasty presence, light banana bread notes, mild spicy notes (coriander and such). Description doesn’t say if this beer is wheat-based but it sure tasted like it is, actually I thought it was more of a corpulent yeasty witbier than a Saison. Not much of a Saison character to this beer other than a light dusty attic sensation, even the attenuation is only medium. Pretty decent easy drinking beer, whatever it was. Another growler shared in the improvised campground next to the Hill Farmstead brewery, and a long week-end camping in a countryside field, reconnecting with the nature, breathing fresh air, no internet connection, sleeping under the stars and drinking beers with friends makes you realize what’s really important in life… internet connection.

Someone shared this in the evening after the HF Harvest Festival. Pours a hazed gold with a thin white head. Big bright musk, citrus, yeast. Bright and musky, fuzzy yeast. Bright lemon, citrus. Long musk, a touch of sweetness.

From growler at HF harvest fest tasting. Light gold pour with white head. Aroma is lemony, yeasty, light grainy aroma, pretty traditional. Lots of yeasty flavors, nice spiciness, fruity flavors as well, mainly peaches. Finishes with a slightly grassy hop finish. Medium body and medium carbonation. Quite palatable.

Had a few sample pours of this on tap at NEBCO today. Took some notes on my phone. A - Hazy golden yellow body with a massive white foamy head. S - Spicy coriander, grass, lemons, earthy grass, biscuity malts and Belgian yeast. A bitter hoppy presence on the finish but very light. T - Biscuity malts with some spice and grass. Slightly earthy with some hops. Crisp and refreshing. Mouth feel is lively yet dry. O - Great American saison. Highly drinkable and the low ABV is a plus. Makes 668 seem like a Belgian booze bomb.
