COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This one's a beauty; a rich and full bodied India Pale Ale with complex malt character blended with cascade and noble hops. The end result is a beer that satisfies the "hop head" out there and won't chase away the newcomer. Drink it. It's good.

IPA, but tastes similar to a lager. Good aroma, but lacks the impact of an IPA.

I poured a 12oz can into a goblet. There was no decipherable freshness date.

Appearance: Hazy body with an apricot or tangerine skin hue. Forms a small, white, foamy head which laces and retains well.

Smell: Citrus juice concentrate, strong pine notes, and a hint of spice rack character.

Taste: I always appreciate a solid IPA even if the recipe seems a bit familiar. New England Brewing Sea Hag IPA isn’t all that unique in the crowded market of American IPAs, but it’s a good one worth trying. It has components of both coasts plus a little spicy finish which makes for a satisfying beer.

Pale maltiness up front with some light honey character. A quick shift to bitterness at the top of the swig with a dank citrusy flavor of juice concentrate instead of crisp juice itself. The finish is even more memorable; a sharp bite of dry bitterness along with a slight garlic-like taste and a hint of pine on the aftertaste. I’ve experienced all these flavor components individually, but rarely together, which makes this an interesting and well-balanced brew.

Drinkability: I was extremely pleased by the ease with which New England Brewing Sea Hag IPA went down. The mouthfeel is comfortable with a fairly soft texture, but still lively enough to notice dull. The fact it’s only 6.3% ABV is quite impressive as it seems to have the weight of something bigger. It’s nice to drink a single IPA that’s so flavorful and drinkable.

Pours a hazy pale yellow-orange color with a medium fizzy white head that evaporates steadily. Short strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of floral hops and fruit. Light to medium body with flavors of herbal hops, pine and grainy malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a floral hops aftertaste. Decent overall.

12oz can. Pours densely hazy light amber and a dense head that thins slowly. Aroma a grapefruity, bready hops. Bitter and salty flavor front end that softens quickly. Heavy body with light effervescence. Overall a lovely hag. I would return here were it not for so many IPA choices that may have a bit more character.

Can pour..not sure this is at its freshest as can seems to indicate this might be from 2012..light orange hue.aroma is hard to pick up..slight citrus notes..palate and mouthfeel are ok..expecting more of a hop presence..pretty good canned ipa..

Canned today. Pours a murky orange with a billowing off white head, aroma is citrus with some wheat. The mouthfeel is billowing and fluffy and the flavor finishes rater bitter.

12oz can. Looks amber. Aroma strong of citrusy and floral hops with a good amount of pale and caramel malts to balance it out. Flavor the same, with a nice blend of the two. Average texture. A good IPA.

Can courtesy of Kimgpin Adam of Somalia, thank you sir! Murky golden brown color, thin white head, solid lacing. Aroma of fresh grass, mild scallions, subtle anise. Taste is bitter leomgrass. Not bad at all.

Big blast of lemon citrus in the nose. Needs more of a hop kick. Doesn't really taste like much; kinda malty and sweet in the middle. Decent I guess, needs some work.

Can. Pours a vibrant orange with some nice haze. The aroma is full of floral hops. The taste is solid. A smooth drink up front and finishes a little bitter. Overall a good ipa. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
