Commercial Description:
This one's a beauty; a rich and full bodied India Pale Ale with complex malt character blended with cascade and noble hops. The end result is a beer that satisfies the "hop head" out there and won't chase away the newcomer. Drink it. It's good.

Thanks to Cletus for this addition of Connecticut to my "list". Pours a beautiful, clear copper with an off-white froth. Aromas of caramel and floral malt. Medium body with mild carbonation. Flavor is lightly roasted caramel with a balance of floral hops. A rather florally mild ale. Very drinkable.

Poured from a 12oz can a hazy, peach-orange color with a creamy, off white head that leaves a ton of sticky lace in the glass. The nose is huge with pine and citrus. caramel and a pinch of toasted malt lurk beneath. The taste starts with citrus, pine, caramel, and some metallic notes. The end is full of pineapple, mango, vanilla, dry toasted malt. Moderate to full mouthfeel. Juicy and creamy and then quickly becomes dry, prickly, and spicy. Very nice. Perhaps a little unbalanced towards the hoppy side. That’s why it works so well.

Can at redlight. This is a really good standard IPA. Nice hops and malts. Nothing terribly weird happening, but just solid.

Can. I like the can visually and for its inherent benefits. But this is just not good. Clear orangish amber with a two-finger, tan, rocky head with okay retention. Not much lacing. Lots of freshly-ground black peppercorn, white pepper, tons of dirt/earthiness/grass. Spiciness throughout. Creamy palate. Per the infamous Beer Talk thread, I think this one was past its born-on date. Believe me, I can tell the difference.

I feel like I had this once before and it was pretty good, but this time...not so much. Nose of butter, cardboard, sweet malts, very faint grapefruit rind. Flavor is heavy on the malts, a little more butter, some citrus, and earthy notes as well. Maybe this can was a little older than the previous experiences. Thanks to riversideAK for the can.

THIS CLOUDY ORANGE BEER HAS A TON OF FLUFFY CREAMY HEAD MUCH MORE THAN AN AVERAGE IPA..AROMA IS NOT OVERPOWERING BUT QUITE A UNIQUE FEMENTED FRUITINESS.. MILD FLAVORING OF HOPS NOT MUCH BITTERNESS, CITRUS OR SWEETNESS MORE HEAVY ON THE PINE THAN ANYTHING ELSE. THIS BEER WOULD TASTE GREAT ON A HIKE WITH A GRANOLA BAR..ONLY I DONT HIKE . OR EAT GRANOLA BARS..STILL A TOP 10 CANNED BEER (ONLY CAUSE MOST GOOD BEERS DONT COME IN CANS)

This canned brew from a bottle shop poured a large sized head of foamy fine to medium sized bubbles that were mostly lasting and left behind a slightly hazy softly carbonated dark orange colored body and a good lacing. The aroma was hoppy mild spice and cookie dough. The semi-thick mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish. The mild flavor contained notes of deep hops. A decent one that I would consider buying again.

Dark orange color with a head that is more tan than off-white, it looks tasty. It smells hoppy without being piney or fruity. The flavor is much more malty and chewy than I would expect from an IPA but I like it a lot. The weird thing about this beer is it feels like a low ABV barleywine in my mouth with a chewy toffee flavor, the hops are there but this is just weird. I wonder how fresh this can is but I guess it doesn’t matter since it tastes good. This IPA is not what I am used to but I sure am enjoying it, recommended.
