Schroppfy (1810), Ohio, USA May 10, 2008 A really well balanced IPA, with great sweet caramel and toasted bread malt character, underneath a moderate grapefruit and pine resin hop character. Earth, iron and vegetable components too. greenleaf (90), Florida, USA May 8, 2008 Can. Pours a deep cloudy orange with a substantial white head, plenty of lacing. Nose is faintly bitter and earthy. The tast is floral but not hoppy enought for an IPA. The tounge is a little tingly but nothing to rave about. Eh.. BuckeyeBoy (1639), Boise, Idaho, USA Apr 29, 2008 12oz CAN pours out hazy copperish orange topped with a small white head. Aroma of light hops and soil. Tast of light hops. light bitterness. Not to bad. jake65 (1657), Williston, North Dakota, USA Apr 24, 2008 Can: Awesome art on the can! Deep copper orange pour with a large sandy head. Thick, sticky lacing. Aroma is malty and dusty? Malty into florals and herbal tones. Really, this is an IPA? Malty dominance and bits of floral hops. The hophead in me is left unsatisfied. Back to the fridge I go... fiver29 (703), Cleveland, Ohio, USA Apr 23, 2008 Can courtesy of crizay. Pours a copper color with a white head. Has a decent aroma of some hops and also has a light to medium mouthfeel. Tastes pretty good for being in a can. Has that hoppy character you look for in a IPA. Nice brew. obguthr (986), Poquoson, Virginia, USA Apr 23, 2008 Can: Thistle aroma with a slight woodiness. Dark, cloudy, amber with a thick yellow head. Flavorful orange and orange peel, but thinnish mouthfeel. Quite good for the price. hombrepalo (726), Chicago, Illinois, USA Apr 21, 2008 Can thanks to jjpm74 as an extra! My first IPA in a can! Aroma lacking here, some earthy scent with caramel hints. Poured a dirty copper color with foamy head. A bit watery look. Taste is of metal and hops, with a bitter ending. Not so balanced here. Interseting beer but not that good. Bungalo22 (326), Bridgeport, Connecticut, USA Apr 20, 2008 Updated: Sep 6, 2008Pours dark from the can with a small but nice head. Smells of grains and malt with the hops coming through slightly. Finishes on the palate nice and balanced with a piney taste. I enjoyed this IPA.
