Magicdave6 (5400), London, Greater London, England Apr 19, 2008 Can thanks to jp47fms8htuej38dh chared with ron and cgarvieuk. Aroma is earthy, gee really earthy, malty nutty character. Taste is similar quite a bit of bittering hop but not very aromatic. A bit disapointed here, drinkable but lacking structure. yesyouam (587), Fairport, New York, USA Apr 18, 2008 New England Sea Hag IPA is a very sparkling, hazy amber ale with a soft yellow head that has great retention and lacing. The aroma is piny and resiny with a touch of sweet caramel. It has a smooth, foamy medium body with a crisp finish. It is bitter and well balanced. Pine and citrus peel are dominant in the flavor. Very good, very American IPA! cgarvieuk (4159), Edinburgh, Scotland Apr 18, 2008 Can Cheers Tom ... Copper ... sweet pine hop ... sweet fruity light american hop ... little bitter ... little smokey caramel. waolsen (1220), Littleton, Colorado, USA Apr 14, 2008 gsmitty80’s mom is a beast. You only hate because your not us. can. copper pour with light haze. off white head. citrus, hop oil, earthy musk, light caramel aroma. light and a bit thin. grassy hops, mild bitterness. weak ipa. gsmitty80 (628), Washington DC, USA Apr 9, 2008 Better than the other offering of theirs that i’ve tried. Its a good ipa in a can but it doesnt stand up to oskar bllues gordons which is my standard for canned ipas. Good attempt and drinkable, went faster thant our New England Ambers.
PATRIOTS SUCK!!! Pack of cheaters. tronraner (1906), Maryville, Tennessee, USA Mar 31, 2008 Can, thanks to jjpm74. Pours orange with dense off-white head. The aroma is grainy and herbal, with some cookie and hay notes. The flavor is on the sweet side, with a grainy cookie malt profile. The hops are herbal and a little bit spicy, but not very bitter. The finish is spices and grass with a little bit of fruit, butter, and cashew. PorterPounder (3132), Tallahassee, Florida, USA Mar 30, 2008 Orlando, Fl. - Rossi’s Pizzeria - on tap. Medium gold pour, white fluffy soft head - excellent lacing. Faint spruce in the aroma, some citrus in the flavor but not too pronounced , a hint of metal, slight phenols. Not too "IPAish". Decently thick mouthfeel.
