Commercial Description:
This one's a beauty; a rich and full bodied India Pale Ale with complex malt character blended with cascade and noble hops. The end result is a beer that satisfies the "hop head" out there and won't chase away the newcomer. Drink it. It's good.

Can. West Coast style IPA - overwhelmingly citrus flavored, specifically a grapefruit aftertaste.

My Bottom Line:
Juicy oranges and flower petals readily bloom onto the cushiony but polite caramel maltiness in this fruity and easygoing American IPA.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-An initially frothy veil dissipates into the hazy pale amber.
-The body is svelte and the loose carbonation makes this absurdly drinkable.
-Leafy and fruity hop bitterness carries on generously.
-The hop display overshadows the toiling malt which does not get a lot of room in the flavor profile; but once again, that’s probably what they wanted in this hophead’s delight.

Can. A hazy amber beer with a thin tan head. The aroma is sweet with notes of caramel, malt, and grass. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of caramel as well as grassy hoppy notes.

Can. Pours out a nice deep coppery color with a huge lasting off white head. aroma is rather floral, with nice citrus and hop notes. Flavor was nice. Had a nice balance of hops and malt. Resin was the dominate flavor hear. Not bad at all. I dont typically associate good beer in a can, but that seems to be changing with the times.

its very smooth like a fine ESB and while it does have some strong hop aroma, it feels just a bit thin. The rest almost tacked on. But the quality is good enough to try at least. Re-rated 1/27/08 I must have something else at the time, but this is batch is a full bodied heavy malted, with clean tasting pine hops. This is a real joy

The aroma is hoppy with caramel and corn malt. The appearance is amber with a large head. The flavor is like the aroma. The palate is average. Overall it’s OK but not great.

12oz. can courtesy of tjthresh. Pour is a slightly hazed orange with a 1.2 inch off white head. Aroma of citrus hops and a a musty basement. Good malt presence in the original taste, then moves more into the hops that were present in the aroma. THe hops feature a nice bitterness to the finish, along with citrus and pine flavors. There is still something musty in the taste, whcih probably dropped my enjoyment of this a bit. Thanks again Tom!

12oz. can, cheers to tjthresh. Fruity, citric hop aroma, some grapefruit, green apple and floral notes along with a lightly musty malt sweetness in the background. Deep, hazy copper color with a billowy off-white head and a thin sheet of lacing. Flavor is a touch maltier than indicated by the aroma, some brown sugary sweetness in varying degrees throughout, combining with a fair amount of bitterness up front, but seeing citric hop and increasing dryness more towards the end. Finish is tangy, gently astringent, woody and toasty. Creamy and smoothly effervescent on the palate with a medium body. Took quite awhile for the head to settle, but once it did this was an easy drinking IPA.
