Commercial Description:
This one's a beauty; a rich and full bodied India Pale Ale with complex malt character blended with cascade and noble hops. The end result is a beer that satisfies the "hop head" out there and won't chase away the newcomer. Drink it. It's good.

Canned (thanks jjpm74!). Reddish amber colour with mediumsized beige head. Aroma is malts, hops and some flowery notes. Flavour is grassy hops, rubber and some earthy notes.

Pours a dark amber brown that seems just a touch clouded. Very slight amount of head. Nose is gentle pine hops, but overall pretty subdued. Flavor is a strong hoppy IPA with some nut character. Also is a sweet hop pine tone there as well. Feel is good on the liquid feel, though there is not a huge amount of bubble hitting the tongue. Overall it is pretty drinkable. Still not the best IPA in a can, but pretty good.

(Can, thanks oh6gdx!) Balanced hop and malt aroma with tones of apricot, resiny pine, flowers, mild citrus, roasted grain, light chocolate, caramel and cookie. Hoppy flavour with resin, citrus and flowers up front. Little caramel and some light roasted tones in the flavour as well. Medium bitter and quite dry. Medium bodied.

Thanks to JK for sharing. Gold color with faint head. Citrus hop nose and a body with plenty of hoppiness.

Great hop aroma, spicy and sweet, some cinnamon, sweet malts with notes of pine resin. Pours a rich amber with a thick white head. Good spicy hop flavor, smooth malts, sweet crystal malts, i love the hop complexity blending NW american hops and noble hops, it gives it a good piney citrus taste with good noble spiciness. This beer is very well balanced. Another great beer in a can!

12 ounce can from my SS summer 07
The beer pours read with a thick khaki head. Good retention, and some lace.
The aroma comes off as biscuit and munich malts, and perhaps a bit of pine or grapefruit. The flavor is much of the same. Not even much bitterness here.
Really sort of a weak example of an IPA.

Why is this rated so highly? Light red color. Aroma has light malt and hardly any hops at all. Flavor is similiar, sweet malt and minimal hops. Not a great beer and not much of an ipa.

Canned. Clear amber. Striking lychee aroma. Caramelly with lots of cookie malt. Medium bodied with rounded mouthfeel. Long salty finish A solid, well hopped IPA.
