Sep 22, 2007 Honey brown in color with thin white head. Aroma is sweet with honey and orange . Taste is somewhat drier than I would expect from the aroma (which is a good thing), and finish is clean with citrus. Fantastic @$2/12oz can

Sep 21, 2007 Thanks to JK for sharing! Copper color with a medium head. Strong hop aroma with lots of orange. Very vegetal taste with plenty of hops. Interesting.

Sep 16, 2007 Loved this Beer. Tried this beer while attending an open house at the New England Brewery in Woodbridge CT. Its a Darker IPA than most which I really liked. I am not a hop head so I enjoyed the fact that this IPA had hops but it wasn’t so over overpowering that the darker flavors couldn’t seep through. It really tastes like nothing I have had before.

Sep 15, 2007 Pours deep orange. Citrus hop and sweet malt are in the aroma and taste. Not sure if its the cascade hops or the type/amount of malt, but there is a dankness there that just isn’t my style. This is a little on the side of Dales Pale Ale without the spice, but that same dankness is there. Solid though

Sep 14, 2007 I got this can in a trade, and thanks to whomever it was that sent it. Caramel color with a creamy ivory head. Fresh grapefruit rind nose, which still surprises me out of a canned beer. A nice biscuit malt foundation under grapefruit juice and orange zest bitterness. Nice, sharp hop head beer.

Sep 9, 2007 Can. Poured into a Sam Adams glass. Deep orangish brow in color with lots of lacing. Hoppy and malty aroma. Citrusy, piney earthy notes. Hoppy and malty flavor. Caramel citrusy notes. Medium bodied. Dry tasting. Finish is hoppy. Enjoyable.

Sep 9, 2007 Can. Pours into the new badass SA glass perfectly with a lasting head and lots of lacing. Color is orange and amber. Aroma is a nice balance between the malt & hop with a tilt towards the tangerine. The taste has a dry white ash flavor. Although somewhat hoppy, I like the malt backbone of this IPA. The best IPA in a can I’ve ever had.

Sep 8, 2007 On tap. A very generic IPA--in fact, the most generic IPA I have ever had. Hoppy but not overwhelmingly so. A strong malt character is also present. However, both the hops and malt lack complexity (making the explicit claim of complexity in the commercial description annoying and inaccurate). The hops taste a little like caraway and are not totally pleasant...the malt hints at being funky. And...my constant complaint--it’s too sweet and too heavy.
