Commercial Description:
This one's a beauty; a rich and full bodied India Pale Ale with complex malt character blended with cascade and noble hops. The end result is a beer that satisfies the "hop head" out there and won't chase away the newcomer. Drink it. It's good.

12 oz can from beastiefan2k as a trade extra. Pours a deep amber, relatively clear. A moderate amount of citrus, earthy hops with a good dose of caramel in the nose. Hops and malt blend nicely in the taste, creating some tropical fruit flavors, such as pineapple. Wondering if this is a late hop addition characteristic? anyway, a decent amount of crystal, and some light toasted malt also in the flavor.. bittering is very moderate and smooth. Nice, very balanced beer. Reminds me a bit of Dale’s, maybe a touch maltier. Thanks Eugene, never even heard of this one before.

She got cans, she knows how to use them. This hag never begs, she knows how to choose them. She pours dark reddish amber, pretty clear but dark enough to allow only medium clarity. So she shows you a lot but only in the right light. What a tease. At first this hag gives a big head but as usually after a little bit of time it just becomes a medium lacing with slight stickiness. Aroma is what seems to almost have become common place now with American IPAs. Hoppiness mixed with caramel maltiness. Hops are tropical fruit and caramel is pretty strong. Taste takes the idea but mixes the two elements very well. Medium bitterness throughout all the flavor. Light earthy roastiness at the end of the flavor. Aftertaste is sweet hops and bittered caramel. Man this hag likes to tease you with sweetness and bitterness. A perfectly medium body with light tickling on the roof of the mouth.

Can. Copper body with a medium-sized soapy white head. Bready aroma with oranges, sweet honey, and toasted grains. Sweet, soapy flavour, some resin though not straight out bitter. Finishes with some grassy pine.

Crystal clear, dark coppery-hued body, barely any head at all. Pleasant hoppy, mildly sweet with honey and malty aroma. The honey-sweetness carries into the flavor, but it is actually a tad too sweet for me. Good hop balance with a soft array of malts. Tasty overall.

Thanks to beastiefan2k for this gift - put aside the fact that the design/font on the can seems more appropriate for an energy drink - drink it. it’s good? - indeed, but how good? - nice copper hue with sticky lace - very fresh (green?) hop aroma, with lots of grass/pine/hay characteristics, and background bready malt - medium bodied - crisp bitterness couples with semi-dry, biscuity malt flavors (think traditional english bitter with the hop profile increased) - some breadiness and light honey creeps in afterwards, but for the most part this remains a rather dry beer - some light mineral/hard water/burton quality crops up near the finish, after which the beers thins out a little - another decent IPA, because lord knows the world needs more of those.

Pours a copper color. Aroma is pine and grapefruit. Flavor is balanced. Doesn’t have the hop bite finish of a lot of IPA’s. However, that doesn’t detract from this beer as it’s very drinkable. A nice surprise here. I look forward to trying some more New England beers, provided they sell them here in MN (haven’t seen any others as of yet).

Can courtesy of jjpm74. Poured a deep coppery amber with a chewy-looking cap of beige head. Sweet aroma of grapefruit and toasty caramel with a well-blended combo of floral and pine hoppage. Flavor picked up the caramel and some sweet grapefruit sugars at the core with moderately bitter pine, grapefruit, and floral notes at the edges. Very nice balance and remarkably drinkable... not over the top in any facet.

Can of unknown volume.
Fiery amber, medium thin fizzed top. 2+
Quiet good fresh combo of citric high alpha hops, meadow hay of bohemians and rich sweet malts.
Medium bodied, alcohol blend with hops . Slightly earthy. Balanced malt base. Neat surprise from can. Good classic IPA with light hint of old world.
