Biscuit aroma with caramel, disinfectant and a hint of chocolate mint. Mildly hoppy flavor of orange rind intermingled with thick and sweet toffee malts. Touch of diacetyl. Rich juicy palate, sharp like pineapple, with a metaliic edge. Slighty rough. tytoanderso (1386), St. Louis Park, Minnesota, USA

Plenty of dry hops on the nose with some faint notes of tangerine zest. Firm on the palate. Nice hop flavor. Not too overpowering. Balanced nicely by some roast malt flavor. Quite a sessionable IPA. carl4beer (400), Fairfax Station, Virginia, USA

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Apr 5, 2007 12 oz can, so cute next to a big can of surly. Via Trade probably from jjpm74. Pours Amber with a big white head that quickly fades to a thin top layer. Deadened aroma. Taste is good, and light, but not as bold as West Coast IPA, certainly good, and great for a can, but not big enough. zach8270 (2085), Henrietta, New York, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Apr 4, 2007 (can - 12 oz) Medium copper color with a thick tan head. Aroma is very well balanced. Good mix of malts and hops with a touch of caramel. Flavor is more malt than hops, but there’s some hops underneath it with a smooth middle and a slightly bitter but quickly fading finish. Quite tasty but could use a bit more flavor. JB175 (1663), Bucks County, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Apr 3, 2007 Bonus can courtesy of jjpm74. Malty-earthen aroma with bits of herbal hops thrown in. Flavor is heavy on the malt side - more English IPA like - with enough grassy-herbal hop taste to mix things up nicely. Smooth, easy-drinkin. All good IPAs should come in a nice looking can. robertsreality (2460), Minnesota, USA

Thick Creamy Mouthfeel. Oily Body...Musty Malt Foundation and Drying Hops Balancing out...Musty, Lightly Oily Dry Ending. Some Grainy and Caramel Malt Detectable After a Few Sips. Interesting IPA, to be Sure. Firemoose15 (540), Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Mar 21, 2007 From a can. Aroma primarily piney hops. Poured amberish. Flavor is all hops, a tad of toasted malts but really it’s hops. Palate was nice crisp a little oily. Overall, can anything be said for good beer in a can. Damn good. Thanks jjpm74 for sending this along in trade.
