Very grainy piney hop aromas with some hempy hops accenting as well. This is very aromatic and quite pleasant. Transparent copper color with a yellowish, frothy head. Very attractive. Slightly sweet start immediately, turning more piney and bitter with hops. Balanced well with malts. Finishes with a bit of a dry finish. Very well-balanced, quality IPA. whaleman (2171), North Wales, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Dec 21, 2006 Warm amber body with scattered suspended detritus and a uniform, sudsy grey-tinted white head. Earthy nose with well-toasted, crispy malt characters and warm spice. Flavor has a brown butter component, substantial toast, some orange zest, and a caramel backing. Medium sweet with some modest herbal bitterness and ample residual malt characters on the palate. Very solid and interesting canned beer, more like a hop-oriented American amber than an IPA, but good regardless.

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Mar 10, 2007 Can from jah noth. Hazy copper body, medium creamy off-white head. Rich hoppy aroma with citrus, pine, and earthy notes, backed by sweet malts. Toasty body with notes of Cheerios and bitter, piney hops. Well-balanced and complex. The rich malt character really lifts this beer; this could pass for a hopped-up Irish Ale. NYHarvey (2154), New York, New York, USA

Ok so it smells like ganja and not much else...pot, mary jane...maybe some faint malt, but mostly pungent, skunky kind bud. The body is an orange tinged caramel with a fluffy, but bubbly, two finger thick off-white head that is quite lasting. Wow....not the hop bomb I thought it would be from the aroma. Some strong piney notes, but mostly a subtle grain/malt beer with complimentary hops. Very hearty and almost toasty malt is even through the middle. Has an almost Kellerbier like grainy wholesomeness to it, but still a strong blast of hops. Not at all what I was expecting when I let it sit so long before drinking it. This is a very good beer. The only real knock I have is that is gets just a smidgen watery right before the finish. zach8270 (2150), Henrietta, New York, USA

Good mix of malts and hops with a touch of caramel. Flavor is more malt than hops, but there’s some hops underneath it with a smooth middle and a slightly bitter but quickly fading finish. Quite tasty but could use a bit more flavor. jsquire (2123), St. Marys, Ohio, USA

Caramel color with a creamy ivory head. Fresh grapefruit rind nose, which still surprises me out of a canned beer. A nice biscuit malt foundation under grapefruit juice and orange zest bitterness. Nice, sharp hop head beer. mds (2112), Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Bready aroma with oranges, sweet honey, and toasted grains. Sweet, soapy flavour, some resin though not straight out bitter. Finishes with some grassy pine.
