COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This one's a beauty; a rich and full bodied India Pale Ale with complex malt character blended with cascade and noble hops. The end result is a beer that satisfies the "hop head" out there and won't chase away the newcomer. Drink it. It's good.

i have had this beer fresh from the brewery, its one of the best ipa’s i have ever had. its not overly done. the malts and hops are perfectly adjusted, its a smooth taste with just enough hops to please any hop head. the caramel malt hits the palate first with a nice bite of hops on the finish. love this!

Got in a BIF from tasterschoice62. 12 ounce can into tulip glass, no can dating. Pours lightly hazy/cloudy golden orange color with a 2 finger dense and fluffy white head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings around the glass. Aromas of big grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, lemon zest, orange peel, light pepper, pine, honey, light caramel, toasted biscuit, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of juicy citrus/pine hops and moderate bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, lemon zest, orange peel, light pepper, pine, honey, light caramel, toasted biscuit, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Moderate pine/citrus rind/spicy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, lemon/orange rind, light pepper, pine, honey, toasted biscuit, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Damn nice complexity, robustness, and balance of juicy citrus/pine hops and moderate bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance and zero astringent hop flavors after the finish. Moderate dryness from bitterness that increases through the glass. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately sticky/resinous, and fairly creamy/bready balanced mouthfeel that is great. Alcohol is very well hidden with zero warming present after the finish. Overall this is a damn nice IPA. All around great juicy citrus/pine hops and moderate bready malt flavors; and very smooth and easy to drink. A very enjoyable offering.

Pours a cloudy, amber-orange color with a huge, spongy head. Smells of a skunky grassiness, together with herbs and bready malts. Has a subdued layer of fruits hidden underneath the herbs, coming to light as the beer warms up. This adds a nice complexity to the nose, while the hops in this still produce a well nuanced noble profile. Has a medium carbonation among a pleasantly soft mouthfeel with a bubbly, bitter finish. Tastes of bready malts and herbal, dank hops, providing a leafy bitterness from the very beginning. Malts get a late toffee addition, while the hops produce a lemon peel crispness, blending well into the herbs, tied together by a mineralic, yet soft, quality. Finishes almost tropical, citrus remains on the palate, while developing a juicy crispness, while the herbs vanish slowly, still reminding of its bready origin. Well put together, while featuring a surprisingly european hop bill, allowing fruity qualities to cut through, enriching the beers taste by a fair margin. Malts provide a consistent breadyness, catching up with the herbal hops in a very pleasant fashion.

It’s hard to describe why this beer is ridiculously good other than to say it’s perfectly balanced. That might not sound so appealing that you’d want to seek it out, but it really is fantastic. There’s a touch of malty sweetness; nothing prominent, but enough to make sure that bitterness doesn’t overwhelm your palate. The hops are citrusy, piney, and floral, but not too bitter. Flavor and aroma are present without being too dense. Really, everything works in perfect harmony. This beer is the epitome of the total being infinitely greater than the sum of its parts.

Can. Pours golden orange with a thin white head. Aroma of citrus, pine, and grass. Flavor of citrus, pine, light fruit, grass, orange and had a dry crisp finish.

Solid but not exceptional. The aroma is mild, floral and earthy with a hint of citrus. The flavor is more complex, pulls in a bit too much malt but finishes clean, crisp and bitter.

Sick beer to have around, easy carry on the golf course. One of the few that holds up to stone ipa. Less hangover for some reason.

12oz can pours a hazy yellow amber color with a lot of head. Head smells yeasty. Nice easy going hop bitterness with some tropical fruit flavors.

12oz can via BA trade at Sour’d in September. Poured an alright looking medium body amber under a smaller foamy white head. Aroma/flavor of dank hops, light citrus, grains, vread, dough, grassy hops and lemons. Medium body with creamy carbonation and an average to quicker fading aftertaste.

Can. Aroma is hoppy resin, citrus, pine, grass, herbs, mild malt. Appearance is hazy yellow with two finger white fluffy head with nice lacing and nice sparkle. Taste is mix of fruity sweetness and mild bitterness. Palate is medium body with thick texture, average carbonation, and nice long finish of mixed sweet and bitter. Overall, pretty true to the brewery’s description (a rarity, I find)--complex mix of malt and hops that is hoppy enough for those aficionados without driving away those of us malt types.
