This one's a beauty; a rich and full bodied India Pale Ale with complex malt character blended with cascade and noble hops. The end result is a beer that satisfies the "hop head" out there and won't chase away the newcomer. Drink it. It's good.

Vigorous pour into Alchemist stemless glass. Pours a cloudy amber color with a very thick foamy head that lingers for a long time. A very strong hoppy aroma that is quite pleasant. Unfortunately the flavor doesn't back it up. It's there, but more subtle. Mouthfeel is pretty smooth with a nice biting finish. Heavy lacing left behind on glass.

12oz can pours a hazy yellow amber color with a lot of head. Head smells yeasty. Nice easy going hop bitterness with some tropical fruit flavors.

12oz can via BA trade at Sour’d in September. Poured an alright looking medium body amber under a smaller foamy white head. Aroma/flavor of dank hops, light citrus, grains, vread, dough, grassy hops and lemons. Medium body with creamy carbonation and an average to quicker fading aftertaste.

Can. Aroma is hoppy resin, citrus, pine, grass, herbs, mild malt. Appearance is hazy yellow with two finger white fluffy head with nice lacing and nice sparkle. Taste is mix of fruity sweetness and mild bitterness. Palate is medium body with thick texture, average carbonation, and nice long finish of mixed sweet and bitter. Overall, pretty true to the brewery’s description (a rarity, I find)--complex mix of malt and hops that is hoppy enough for those aficionados without driving away those of us malt types.

Draft. Some pine resin on the nose. Flavors are a teeny bit sweet, orange and honey, subdued by a big but indistinct malt bill. A tick better than standard.

Big resin with a bit of citrus, easy going malt body which represents the hops well, solid IPA/Pale Ale

Also got this as an extra in a trade. This one was much more enjoyable. Very hazy body. Nice fruity pine aroma. Big bitter resin bite with hints of citrus.

Pour out of 12 oz can, clear golden orange pour with white head, aroma brought notes of orange, lemon, slight pine, grass, touch of spice, some slight pineapple. Taste was a mix of orange, pine, slight lemon and spice notes into a bit of earth, bread, some slight herbal notes, finishing fairly bitter. Pretty simple, but tasty nonetheless.

Pint on tap at the hotel in Oxford, CT. Mostly clear golden orange color. Thin off-white head. Leaves good ridges of lace. Medium-plus body. Smooth, crisp lighter carbonation. Light slick. Piney, citrusy hop, a nice amount of it. Moderate bitter, lighter sweet. Satisfying, swiggable IPA.

Nice IPA with a golden color and a tart tangy taste, no bad aftertaste to detract from the crisp clean taste ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
