Nov 20, 2009 Thanks to Cletus for this addition of Connecticut to my "list". Pours a beautiful, clear copper with an off-white froth. Aromas of caramel and floral malt. Medium body with mild carbonation. Flavor is lightly roasted caramel with a balance of floral hops. A rather florally mild ale. Very drinkable.

Aug 13, 2008 A nice IPA coming out of a can. Hints of caramel, orange, and some bitterness rolling down my tongue. Great graphics on the can.

Nov 10, 2007 Can. A hazy amber beer with a thin tan head. The aroma is sweet with notes of caramel, malt, and grass. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of caramel as well as grassy hoppy notes.

Sep 21, 2007 Thanks to JK for sharing! Copper color with a medium head. Strong hop aroma with lots of orange. Very vegetal taste with plenty of hops. Interesting.

Apr 27, 2009 on tap @ gingerman. A nice copper hue with a frothy white head that had mild retention. Aroma was balanced between bittiering hops and caramel but also had a somewhat smoke like quality to it. Finish was velvetly smooth yet crisp. nice balanced IPA.

Dec 17, 2007 12oz can thanks to the CHEESEMAN. Caramel brown color, strange for an IPA, but clear and nice looking, with sharp clarity and a decent looking fine-bubbled head that then quickly dies. Sweet caramel and munich malt nose, douchy maple sugar and a light bit of an orange juice hop note. Chewy and lightly sweet up front, with a mixture of sweet orange hop flavor with maple sugar and pecan nut bread malt notes. Not exactly an IPA but a well-brewed beer.

Nov 22, 2007 Canned. Slightly cloudy copper with a big, pillowy beige head. Aroma is somewhat stale with some sweet maltiness and little hops. The maltiness in the flavor is almost too sweet and very bready. Hops are there with a moderate citrus character. Finish is dry and sticky sweet. Pretty good.

Feb 22, 2007 12 oz. can from slob, thanks for this new IPA dude! Pours a beautiful clear, deep ruddy copper color with a large and fluffy beige head. Aroma is heavy with toasty and caramel malts, with floral and citrus hoppiness quite evident as well. Somewhat mild flavor features toasty and sweet citrus fruity malts, as well as herby and citrus hops with a tingly grapefruit rind finish. I think the commercial description line "won’t chase away the newcomer." is apt, as the flavor though pleasant, is not as bold as I typically like in an IPA. Medium body and gentle carbonation.
