Growler from Oz at Best Western, pours slightly clearish golden, light head and lacing. Aromas and taste of bluberry, pine, mineral water, tang, super sessionable. A little bitter and dry towards end. Light to medium in body. Fruity ipa. Really nice use of mosaic.

bottle share at BW - pre-hill farmstead 3rd anniversary. pours hazy golden with a decent white head, retention and lacing. plenty of citrus, herbs, hint of pineapple, fresh hoppiness, crisp pale malts with a touch of caramel. average carbonation, light body - never watery, very nice clean and dry citrus-grapefruit-pine finish.

Poured from 32oz Grumbler... Poured hazy, golden amber/orange with a white-ish head. Nose had vegetables and cat pan-like notes. Getting past the aroma though, awesome Mosaic Hop flavor here. Dense, mildly dank, over ripped berries, and citrus with an earthy onion tone. Some malt sweetness to balance a little, but overall the mosaic was in the forefront here.

Growler shared at Hill Farmstead pre-3rd anniversary bottle share. Golden with a medium white head and some lacing. Aroma is of blueberries(?), citrus, floral notes, caramel and pine. Taste is slightly sweet with citrus, blueberries(?), caramel, pine and light bitterness. Dry. Medium body. Really good IPA! I don’t understand why there was blueberry notes in this one, but it was quite enjoyable. Another winner hopped with Mosaic.

Draft gingerman poured a dark golden color with a one finger white head. Aroma has sharp green hops, citrus, some bitterness and fresh cut flowers. Mouth feel is medium and has good carbonation. Flavor has citrus, resins, medium bitterness, and fresh wet hops. Very green tasting.

UPDATED: JAN 28, 2014 On tap at the brewery. Pours cloudy golden with a white head. Aroma of floral and citrusy hops with some spicy notes and a nice caramel/pale malt profile. Flavor a nice blend of the hops and malts. Average texture. A good IPA. Edit: 32oz growler in a tulip. Pours hazy golden. Aroma of fruity and citrusy hops with a nice light maltiness. Flavor has nice fruity hops. Average texture. A good IPA.

Growler from the brewery. Pours a slightly hazy golden and has a small ring of white bubbles that stick around. Smells of citrus, melon, grassy, some pineapple hints. Tastes of resin, some sweet citrus, peppery, some grassy hay like hints on the finish. Very different and very enjoyable.

Pour from a 64 oz growler (filled today) into a 668 tulip glass. A - Pours a color that I have come to expect from NEBCO, just a beautiful hazy unfiltered golden amber color. One fingers worth of white foam forms and disappears quickly. Moderate lacing and retention after a swirl but it seems to sit rather still. S - Huge wave of tropical mango, grapefruit, clementine and some pineapple with an earthy and dank undertone. Not quite on the level of the Simcoe cat urine thing, but just a bit pungent. This smells fantastic! T - It starts off with tropical fruits of mango, pineapple, oranges and grapefruit but its immediately met with with a wall of crackery malts. More of that danky earthy pungency with a bit of grass. Very balanced with the hops making their presence known at every second. Finishes dry with a juicy flavor and a light bitterness. Mouth feel is rich and oily with perfect carbonation. O - Another incredible one-off IPA from the boys at NEBCO. This is a really impressive beer that showcases the mosaic hop so well. I actually enjoy this quite a bit more than Fuzzy Baby Ducks (I’m not a citra fanatic) and in terms of other Mosaic hopped beers this falls just short of HF Society & Solitude #6. Very impressive and damn tasty and far too drinkable.
