3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Old rating from BA. On tap at 5 Points. The pour is a fairly dark amber color with a fingerís worth of off-white foam. A fair amount of toasty and biscuity malt that is paired with some floral and citrus hop notes. There is a hint of nuttiness to this beer as well. This is a fairly sweet and malt forward beer. The biscuity malt is contrasted by a bit of a bitterness and some light citrus and grass flavors.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap @ Canyon Club: Appeared as a medium brown tea color with tiny thing development of foam head. The aroma is faint but has evidence of lightly toasted malts that give off a slight scent of toffee and nuts. The drink is balanced well with a heavy body and the addition of quality English malt that brings out a bready taste of whole grains with notes of honey. Minor notice of bitter hops but Iím satisfied with this ESB and will say it again, itís a solid effort.

Dark amber-brown, no sustaining head, fair clarity. Nose is subtle, mostly toasty Malta with a touch of nuts and english hops. Slight diacetyl in the nose and flavor. Smooth even malt profile with fair hop bitterness to balance. Slick texture and moderate carbonation. Easy drinking and malty ESB, the hint of diacetyl detracts slightly.
