3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
A nice aroma gives this beer a very solid start, but it goes down hill from there... Color is a beautiful copper shade but I had absolutely no luck getting head from this beer...... the flavor is very apply and sweet. Right away it is kind of pleasent, but it quickly grates on my palate almost to the point of sickening. Another syrupy fruity overrated (in my opinion) beer from New Glarus...

4.7 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
12 oz bottle. Pours a clear, light brown color. Slight off-white head, dissipates quickly. Aroma is mainly sweet apple, with a hint of malt as well. Flavor is very cidery, sweet apples again, with a malt finish. Hints of cinnamon at the end as well. Palate feels effervescent, very lively on the tongue, and a bit syrupy. Overall this is an excellent fruit beer, a great brew for my 100th also!

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
12 oz bottle. Pours a clear golden/yellow color with a small had that could use some more retention and lacing is ok. Aroma is well.....apples. Big green apple nose with a slight hint of spice. Flavor is sweet apple up front with a touch of almost caramel and cinnamon at the end. Its almost like caramel dipped apples. The thing I like the best about it is that it very different from a cider. Its a nice mix of apples and beer. Another winner for New Glarus and fruit beers!

4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pours light, cloudy brown with small head. Aroma of fresh apples but of sournbess as well. Taste is beautiful. Apples come through clear and crisp, but not overwhelmingly. Not as sour as a lambic, but more sour than a standard fruit beer. Leaves nothing to be desired. Smooth, drinks exceptionally well. A shame to do anything but sip this, as it is best to make it last long into the evening. For its style, not much better.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
12 oz Unplugged bottle. Copper pour with only a thin white ring at the edge of the glass. Aroma is tons of the sweetest, crispest apples imaginable. Taste is very cidery at first, followed by a lovely malt finish. Some caramel pushes the autumnal majesty even more. Mouthfeel much closer to cider than beer; incredibly drinkable. I prefer this to the Raspberry Tart, but nothing can touch the Belgian Red.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
bottle courtesy of Brady (thanks): Pours like apple juice it has that distinct cloudiness that you get with apple juice. Aroma is like apple juice infused with yeast. Taste is sweet apples almost like an apple cider. I almost believe this could be good warmed up. New Glarus really knows how to do the fruit beers. This beer tows the line of beer and apple cider. You can still get a yeasty, alcohol (very light), dry finish. It’s like apple juce with a little extra. Good.

4.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
this brew was amazing. My gf and I split a bottle and poured into flute style champage glasses. Smells like an apple orchard on a crisp fall day. Light amber color, low carbonation, no head. tastes like light apple, semi sweet, semi dry, no hops detected. Little malt. Reminds me more of a lambic or cider. This is a great after dinner drink or great on its own on a saturday afternoon. Little alcohol detected. A

Well, the label does not mislead -- tastes of fresh, red delicious apples. Refreshing, light, and not too sweet, this one-dimensional brew is great for the fall. Thanks MrFacto!
