Pleasant aroma, of malt, caramel, toffee. It has a deep cola like brown color. Starts off with a nice sweet caramel flavor, then you get a rich malty taste like cereal. It has a nice spicy herb finish. Solid beer

Bottle: Cola brown with a whipped beige head. Caramel, banana aroma. Flavour is slightly nutty, soft banana... A little chocolate and a bit of salt. Very rich and satisfying.

Bottled. Browned maroon with a small white ring of a head. Caramel nose atop moderate toasted grains and over ripened banana. Lightly sweet flavor that grows slightly in sweetness. Some quick metallic notes between flavors of sweet straw and old bread. A bit bland for me.

Pours a lightly hazy ruby - nose of esters (baked banana), dark breads, roasted nuts - creamy texture, medium body, soft carbonation - rich toasty maltiness - somewhat dry and toasty, but with some toffee sweetness to it - light bitterness, hazelnut - mild over ripe banana - light spiciness - a touch of huskiness, but it’s very mild - fairly enjoyable bock - nice malt richness to it.

Light body and taste. Brown color on a white head. Mild cocoa notes. Coffee hints. Rather boring but not bad. Probably had too many big beers before this puppy

Being a farmers daughter, I just had to try this one for it’s name!! Not normally a dark beer drinker, but this one got me! Great taste.

Bottle. Subtle chocolate and malt flavors. Very smooth and not too sweet, but still with no edge of bitterness. Good finish and aftertaste. Well-balanced.

Pours dark amber with a huge, foamy, off-white head that stays 'til Jesus comes! Nose is malty and has hints of molasses. Taste is predominately sweet. A bit of a coffee note on the palate. Medium (pushing full) body. Lively carbonation. Honey finish. Very nice. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
