COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cool days draw us close to the warmth of home fires. This is the season to sip away the chill and embrace quiet evenings with friends and family. You hold a Wisconsin Style Honey Bock, easy going and more approachable than its traditional dark German cousin. Bock beers have existed in Wisconsin for over 150 years. This pale bock is brewed with an exclusive blend of Wisconsin two row barley that balances seamlessly with our special European hops. Naturally sweet Clover Honey was added in the kettle accenting warm flavor notes on your tongue. Whether you reminisce the passing summer sun or thrill to squeaky steps through drifting snow one thing is certain about winter in Wisconsin, this too shall pass.

Color of a typical lager. Big 2 inch fluffy head. Sweet bready aroma. Kind of a skunky taste. Don’t really case for this one.

Bottle: Clear gold with a thick white head. Honey, barley aroma. Taste is barley malt, honey.... Almost a little smokiness to the honey....a hint of spice...grows sweeter as it warms..... Pretty good.

12oz bottle, poured into a snifter. The aroma is initially bready, with a corn muffin touch, combined yeasty, slight damp, egg drop soup funk which fades. The bread and corn remain, although less so, with a faint honey and citrus sweet late. It pours a clear, effervescent gold, topped by a light, fizzy, white head that reduces quick eventually leaving just a small fuzzy island and a touch of lace. The beer’s taste is a medium-light sweet and light bitter. It’s thin, fuzzy, and light. My initial reaction is that it’s a more polished version of PBR, but not as fuzzy or full, and smoother. The flavors of bread and corn muffin come through first with a honey smoothness and zesty citrus finish containing light spruce notes. There’s a grassy and bread aftertaste akin to aforementioned PBR, but much lighter and more pleasant.
