3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Opaque, very dark brown color with a small beige head. Roasted coffee beans, lactose and bittersweet chocolate in the aroma. Rich bitter chocolate and coffee flavors, with a strong sour lactose aftertaste. The feel is a bit thinner than I would like.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Deep dark brown (opaque) with a small (quickly dissipating) head. The aroma was full of coffee, sour milk, and dark chocolate. The flavor was very full and complete...coffee, dark chocolate, bitter hops, and freshly cut grass (WTF!) with a sour lactic aftertaste. Crisp and light in body...medium dry finish.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Very dark brown to almost black color, small head that faded fast. The aroma definately hits the coffee note, roasted coffee and roasted malt very nice combo with maybe a bit of dark chocolate thrown in but i could be mistaken.Very light carbonation, but the flavor is great nice roasty malt chocolate and very well done coffee, slightly sweet and just plain damn good.I've never been a big coffee fan in fact you could say i hate it but in a brew i can't get enough. The after taste has a nice chocolate and coffee taste that lasts for some time.Definately a coffee drinkers dream, very light unoverpowering brew that is a nice addition to my tasting experience. Thanks go to Wawood for this brew.

4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
This brew pours with a black body topped by a medium thick, creamy tan head with a good amount of lacing left behind. Wow, there is so much coffee in the nose, it's hard to believe they didn't actually add coffee to this beer. Malt, chocolate and a slight roastiness also fill the nose. The flavor is bitter sweet, malty and coffeeish with a note of chocolate and a very slight roastiness. This is a truly great stout. Full bodied and smooth.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Aroma is more chocolatety than coffee-like. Nothing overly ambitious in the nose. Fully opaque body with large light tan head that mostly diminishes. Excellent lace. Rich, dry flavor with some chalk notes and just the right amount of sweetness. A very good and worthy example of the Sweet Stout style. You've heard it a million times, and here's once more, it's not my favorite style, but I recognize it's quality. Finishes a little thin.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Quickly dissipating soapy head. Light-medium body. Slightly acidic coffee notes, not nearly enough. I didn't think Blue Mountain -- it was straight Sanka all the way. Weak palate, lingering coffee note...definitely not inspirational or one to seek out again.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Thanks again to redlem for another beer! Pours brownish-black with a tan head. Nose is bitter coffee, obviously, but there is also a hint of dark chocolate or cocoa. The tongue is enveloped in a roasted, malty, coffee laden body. Light oily mouthfeel with some bitter moments. Not too bitter during the finish. Another good beer.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Very dark brown hue with a frothy tanm head and good lace. Semi-sweet chocolate, french roast coffee, burnt malts, floral hops, and apple nose. Not a coffee tasting as the stouts that use real java in the brew, this one is more sublime in nature. Very lively mouthfeel keep it palate from being overwhelmed by the bitterness of the burnt malts and a twangy smoky finish. Too thin-bodied and watery IMO with a lingering bitterness. A average coffee stout which still means that it's an above average brew!

4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Loved the way it poured, low carbonation, dark brew. First taste and I was hooked, tasted the coffee in the aftertaste. Had a hard time having enough patience to let this one warm to room temp. It was worth the wait.

This stout was acquired in trade with Bigbadbear63, he is the Shizat!
Oh mama, Now you speakha Me language!! This stout pours a deep jet-black body with a immense caramel colored head. The aroma is, caramel, toffee, chocolate, French roast, Woo, the flavor-flav is a robust and roasted chocolate malt and cream…much sweeter than I had anticipated… I actually pick up more chocalate than I do coffee, although it is evident, I even find a trace of vanilla.
The palate is like a thin chocolate moose, a bit skinny, if this stout had more texture it would be intensely sublime.
