Hearty and satisfying, our Coffee Stout is the ultimate full-bodied brew. Wisconsin water, roasted malts, and imported hops are the natural ingredients we use to brew this bier. Then cold pressed organic coffee from Just Coffee Co-op is infused into the brew. Expect this bier to pour a deep creamy head over an ebony rich body. Notice the powerful malt bouquet balanced by a spectrum of extravagant flavor. Served at room temperature this Wisconsin Coffee Stout is guaranteed to warm even the coldest heart.

I purchased an individual bottle of this from a local grocery store. Coffee Stout pours a dark hue with a thick head and a nice lacing. The scent is of coffee, cocoa and some malt. The taste is very smooth with the coffee mixing well with the cocoa and malt. This is one of the best stouts I have ever had. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Super thick n creamy head. Fresh pressed coffee aroma emits from the the pitch black body. Smooth silky coffee notes, roasted malts hit the back end. Good carbonation for a stout.

12oz bottle to snifter. Cola colored with big pillowy frothy tan head. Light body and mild mannered. Biting carbonation much like a soda. Mild stout with moderate coffee.

Pours a beautiful dark dark brown with an impressive creamy head. Very nice. Smells of roasted coffee and some sweet dark malt. Tastes creamy smooth coffee and malt. I think I just pick up sugar in addition to the coffee instead of chocolate or molasses, etc. Just a delicious coffee roast with some well complemented sweetness. Smooth and delicious. I had the Kalamazoo Stout earlier today and found myself preferring that because of the more complex notes such as molasses and licorice. But for being a "coffee stout", it does that extremely well!

Poured from 12oz bottle into nonic pub glass, opaque very dark brown, reddish at the corners when held to the light, with light brown foam, lasting with lace. Great coffee aromas, even better flavours of malt, toasted brown bread, roasted barley, charcoal, chocolate, mellow breakfast coffee, cherry, plum, raspberry. Faint tartness and bright coffee-like acidity. Medium body and carbonation, relatively dry finish. Good long-lasting roasty aftertaste. Another delicious, well-balanced New Glarus brew.

Totally would have guessed 6-6.5% ABV on this. Pours pitch black with a thick rocky froth of cappuccino foam that hangs out a while and leaves numerous awesome looking webby rings of lace. Nose involves sweet molasses, toast, vanilla, marshmallow, and some light roasted coffee notes. Fairly sweet, decently bitter. Medium to full bodied, frothy, soft, rich, velvet on the palate, with a lengthy roasted and dark chocolate finish. I think this is fantastic. It doesn’t scream coffee, so those looking for an intense java fix may be disappointed, but for me the body is where this shines, especially considering the lower ABV. Thanks to a friend for throwing one my way.

Jet black aroma of roasted barley and dark tan one finger head. Taste a ton like coffee and pretty good malt complexity.
