COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Copper Kettle Weiss is designed in the traditional style of a dark wheat beer. Rich malt flavors are accentuated through our complicated decoction mash and finally balanced with select Hallertau hops.

bottle. poured a little darker than most hefes, not dunkel dark. xcellent head with orange and banana scent, do i smell brown sugar? anyway, this brew comes alive in my mouth, made my taste buds sing. smooth getaway, but not too quick, with a nutty flavor. one of the best weiss beers i have ever tasted!

About a 1 inch thick head of medium sized bubbles. Interesting aroma with some oranges, cauliflower, wheat and corn. Some sweet malts also. Color is a cloudy dark orange. Lively in the mouth with some roasty notes. Sweet malts and some grainy feeling on the palate. More vegetal notes. Finishes sweet malty and a bit dry. I am indifferent to this brew.

Pours with a cloudy, amber body topped by a thick, off-white head with some lacing left behind. The flavor and aroma are subtle with sweet, malty notes and a hint of banana yeast notes. Not much else to it. Light to medium bodied and smooth.

This was lighter than what i expected for a dunkel, but very tastey nonetheless. Pours a hazey, clouded orange body with a pleasent fruity aroma. Well balanced, not overly malty with a smooth crisp sweet finish.

I accidently poured the gunk in so itís amber honey with a bit of dark sludge floating. The head throws itself high into the air filling my tall pillsener glass. Aromas of sweet and sour sauce. Full nectar with mild yet ample carbonation. Rich and malty with sweet aged citrus, medicine, tropicals like kiwi, wood, and nectarines. The finish is long with lingering sweetness and a bit of acidity.

12oz bottle. Light copper color. Sweet aroma of bananas. Flavor is light and airy (like an angel food cake). Straight up, balanced. No major characteristics. Just an easy drinker.

On tap and 12 oz. bottle. Beautiful copper color. Head is smaller and light tan. Aroma has wheat, banana and hop. Slight metallic note (from the copper vessels) Flavor is includes spicy notes (clove?), wheat and carmel malt character. But also a toasted finish. Has very unique character all itís own. NGB, please bring this back in 08.

12oz from trade a ways back. 3rd New glarus 12oz of the night. Shared with my gf Cyn. Pours dark orange with a 1 finger tan head. Nose is sweet and nice well rounded. Taste is very nice, sweet, with notes of honey, and other nice flavors. Very good brew for a domestic interpretation of the style, and a style that I donít see all that often in the US.
