Commercial Description:
If you dream of wheat this brew will get your toes tapping. Since 1995 we have brewed Bavarian style wheat beers exclusively for the same great state that grows and malts our own Wisconsin wheat. In a world full of posers this is a true hefe-weizen naturally 100% bottle fermented and hazy.

Expect this beer to cascade effervescent into your glass. The rich spicy clove and cinnamon notes will greet your nose while sweet fruit and wheat kisses your lips.

Lick the foam from your mouth and admit sometimes you just gotta get up and dance.

A hefty Hefe made for the docks of the Northern Woods, pours like beautiful wheat cloud and finsihes big and bold

Served from a 12oz bottle given to my by my new brother-in-law. Thanks Jason. The appearance is a hazy straw/gold. The aromas are sweet wheat with clove and cinnamon accents. The flavors are full of creamy wheat, malts, cinnamon stick, pepper notes. The mouth is creamy with a slight bitterness.

Another NG from allendod. Thanks! I begin to believe NG is one of the best brewers. That’s based on a small sample of 2 til now. Pours hazy gold with a fourfinger white head. Aroma of banana ester and clove spice. Near medium body with frothy carbonation. Wow. The flavor reminds of Mexican chocolate - without the chocolate - so that’s cinnamon. So much it’s like licking the bark. Clove and banana follow. A very flavorful hefe. Though the wheat isn’t all that detectable. Just great.

12 oz bottle acquired via trade. Cloudy yellow pour with a thick white cap. Aroma of wheat, banana, clove and yeast. Flavor is a nice mix of those very same flavors, and it pretty much floats on the tongue, incredibly refreshing. Another winner from New Glarus.

12 oz. bottle from Woodman’s Market in Madison, WI. Hazy yellowish-orange pour with a foamy off-white head. Luscious aroma of banana and bubblegum. Sweet, but light, banana flavor. No fancy citrus flavors get in the way of this one; this is a solid hefeweizen. This is probably the best hefeweizen I have ever tasted. Outstanding.
