Clear golden with huge frothy white head. Classic Hefeweizen aroma..not extremely bold. Full flavored medium body. NOT watery or thin whatsoever. Creamy and wonderful. Flavor is downright delicious - everything a hefeweizen should be.

Seriously tasty, maybe even a little overwhelming. Sticky and full flavored, banana and lemon.

Uploading old ratings that were missing comments. Super refreshing and with well-balanced banana and clove notes. Really great.

Does New Glarus make bad beer? I’ve never experienced it. Delicious wheat; a mix between American wheat and a hefe. Less watery than most with a nice citrus body and some spice to boot.

Bottle from trade with Crajun. Pours a slightly cloudy pale orange color with a big bubbly head that fades normally. Aromas are sour fruit, bananas and clove. Taste powerful mixture of the aromas. Huge carbonation makes the beer foam up in my mouth, unpleasant. The flavors are nice though and this is a somewhat unique take on the hefe.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
This seasonal wheat beer from New Glarus brewery is superb. Pours a golden amber color with a thick head of foam that sticks around. Drinks very smooth and has a slight spice after taste. Dancing Man Wheat is far far from a whimpy tasting beer.

Pours a golden color with large white head, cinnamon hits the nose right off the bat, sweet and spicy and very drinkable.

Bottle shared by Dreadnaught33. Thanks Jonathan!
The beer is hazy, appearing golden yellow hued with a towering white head. Excellent retention and lacing. An all around stellar appearance. The aroma is sweet, with prominent banana scents. Very nice flavor, albeit sweeter than is customary for the style, though typical of New Glarus. Lots of banana and sweet malt. Not as refreshing or quaffable as a lighter, traditional hefeweizen, but certainly tasty and delicious. Light to medium bodied, with alcohol content well disguised. Wow, this is 7.2%? Overall, quite enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this beer. Another gem from New Glarus.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Clear until I poured in the last half inch, and then it went mildly hazy. Very good fruit--pineapple, orange--with happy spices, perfect for autumn, and an excellent complement to food. Not especially vigorous in the body; the beer fizzed up big-time on the pour and I like a beer to hold a little more back. Still, solid beer. Bottle.

From bottle. One of the better hefeweisens out there in the U.S. Good thick chunky foam and rich coloring in the glass. Surprising alcohol strength. $10/6-pack
