COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
If you dream of wheat this brew will get your toes tapping. Since 1995 we have brewed Bavarian style wheat beers exclusively for the same great state that grows and malts our own Wisconsin wheat. In a world full of posers this is a true hefe-weizen naturally 100% bottle fermented and hazy.

Expect this beer to cascade effervescent into your glass. The rich spicy clove and cinnamon notes will greet your nose while sweet fruit and wheat kisses your lips.

Lick the foam from your mouth and admit sometimes you just gotta get up and dance.

Poured into a wheat beer glass. Nice thick white head. Cloudy dark yellow color. The scent is mostly banana and clove. I don’t get much else. Taste is also primarily banana with heavy clove & cinnamon. The clove is almost overpowering. Nice palate with good carbonation. Overall I’m a little disappointed which is rare for New Glarus beers. It’s an OK hefewizen but not well balanced.

Draft. Pours light amber with thick white head and lacing. Wheat and lemon citrus aroma with clove and pepper notes. Honey wheat malt upfront with banana, coriander and spice. Some cherry notes and anise in the finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

bottle. Poured cloudy yellow with a big white head. Aroma of candy bananas. Medium-light body, creamy-smooth carbonation leaves a soft mouthful. Flavour of wheat malt, sweet orange citrus with notes of coriander, clove, and faint pepper.

Bottle thanks to DeyHolla! Slightly hazy medium gold with a massive white head. Strong banana esters. Clove. Baked bread. Fairly sweet flavor. Banana and honey. Easy drinking, pillowy carb. Nice.

Smells like a banana hefeweizen. Taste is heavy banana, yeast, and mild lemon.

12oz bottle, thanks to beerpig317. Code on bottle reads 1344 07:12. Yikes. A huge chunk of congealed yeast just slipped into the glass as I poured this. Looks alright otherwise. Hazy orange color. Audibly fizzing finger of white bubbly head. Fades to a thin amount. Loose bits of lace. Soft, kind of tingly stronger carbonation. Bigger body. Light slick. Bigger banana. Kind of spicier. Bit of bready malt in the back. Moderate-plus sweet taste. Moderate bitter. Interesting, flavorful, but ultimately just alright weizenbock. Kind of stronger carbonation, not very complex malt, a bit dry. Wonder how old it is? Eh. Left the last abnormally yeasty bit in the glass. I ought to retry a fresher example.
