COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
If you dream of wheat this brew will get your toes tapping. Since 1995 we have brewed Bavarian style wheat beers exclusively for the same great state that grows and malts our own Wisconsin wheat. In a world full of posers this is a true hefe-weizen naturally 100% bottle fermented and hazy.

Expect this beer to cascade effervescent into your glass. The rich spicy clove and cinnamon notes will greet your nose while sweet fruit and wheat kisses your lips.

Lick the foam from your mouth and admit sometimes you just gotta get up and dance.

Bottled. An unclear golden beer with a thin white head. The aroma is sweet wheaty with light notes of banana and other fruits, as well as hints of plastic. The flavor is sweet malty and wheaty, combined with notes of banana and oranges, as well as notes of bread, leading to a slightly bitter and dry wheaty finish.

12oz bottle. Large off-white head atop murky apple cider body. Aroma is moderately sweet, clove, some wheat, cream, banana. Taste is moderately sweet, clove, banana, cream, some wheat, lemon. Creamy light-medium body with light acidity/effervescence. Very drinkable, surprised that the ABV is so high (though it does start to show through when the beer warms). Excellent.

A: The pour is orange in color with an impressive (or maybe not?) level of clarity for a hefeweizen. A massive white head forms before subsiding. S: Weíve got banana, which is quite nice. But even more so, there is a lot of clove and maybe a bit of bubblegum. Sweet wheat bread is prominent as well. Maybe a bit of orange peel. T: Very sweet malt and wheat with a bit of a honey flavor in there too. Quite spicy, especially with cloves, and thereís a bit of citrus zest on the finish. Banana esters provide some sweetness as well. M: The body is medium with a moderate carbonation that is fairly smooth and almost creamy. D: Despite a way higher than usual ABV, this is a pretty good hefeweizen, especially for an American brewed version. Wouldnít mind having this one again.

Another NG from allendod. Thanks! I begin to believe NG is one of the best brewers. Thatís based on a small sample of 2 til now. Pours hazy gold with a fourfinger white head. Aroma of banana ester and clove spice. Near medium body with frothy carbonation. Wow. The flavor reminds of Mexican chocolate - without the chocolate - so thatís cinnamon. So much itís like licking the bark. Clove and banana follow. A very flavorful hefe. Though the wheat isnít all that detectable. Just great.
