COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
If you dream of wheat this brew will get your toes tapping. Since 1995 we have brewed Bavarian style wheat beers exclusively for the same great state that grows and malts our own Wisconsin wheat. In a world full of posers this is a true hefe-weizen naturally 100% bottle fermented and hazy.

Expect this beer to cascade effervescent into your glass. The rich spicy clove and cinnamon notes will greet your nose while sweet fruit and wheat kisses your lips.

Lick the foam from your mouth and admit sometimes you just gotta get up and dance.

Another NG from allendod. Thanks! I begin to believe NG is one of the best brewers. Thatís based on a small sample of 2 til now. Pours hazy gold with a fourfinger white head. Aroma of banana ester and clove spice. Near medium body with frothy carbonation. Wow. The flavor reminds of Mexican chocolate - without the chocolate - so thatís cinnamon. So much itís like licking the bark. Clove and banana follow. A very flavorful hefe. Though the wheat isnít all that detectable. Just great.

Served from a 12oz bottle given to my by my new brother-in-law. Thanks Jason. The appearance is a hazy straw/gold. The aromas are sweet wheat with clove and cinnamon accents. The flavors are full of creamy wheat, malts, cinnamon stick, pepper notes. The mouth is creamy with a slight bitterness.

Pours hazy orange with a big foamy white head. Aroma is yeast and hop spice and wheat. Taste is orange rind, wheat, peach, apple, and spices. Feels medium thin, but is very juicy, almost acidic.

Pours a cloudy and muddled gold color with thick white head. Aroma is just loads of clove, with some banana, rich and delicious. Medium carbonation gives way to loads of banana flavor, which leads to another touch of clove and some wheat. A hint of bubblegum at the end, though an overall solid beer.

12 oz brown bottle, the summer seasonal for New Glarus. It pours into my generic Weizen glass a pale, light gold with orange hinting at the top and a ribbon of yeast. The head is foamy and massive, a white mountain brimming over the lip of the glass. It takes a bit to recede leaving some decent lacing. The smell is almost pure bubble gum, there are hints of clove and banana, but mostly pink bubblegum. It seems to get more clovey as you sniff, but it has a strong bubblegum scent, especially when you sniff out of the bottle. The flavor is more of a lemon/clove mixture, it has a deep spiciness that tickles the back of your throat. The mouthfeel is a bit thick and undercarbonated for the style, reminiscent of a weizenbock. The drinkability also suffers per the style because of this, but only slightly. It is a wild hefeweizen, not quite authentically Bavarian, but pretty close. 12oz bottle from David. Hazy pale orange, with an off white head that slowly settles to a thin layer. Wheat, bit of grain alcohol, lemon, nutmeg, bit of yeast. Smooth, medium to light body, mildly sweet, becomes a bit bitter and biting at the end which is quite nice. dry and a bit of depth as well. Quite like this - combines both an easy to drink wheat and a more complex belgian dubel or triple.
