Commercial Description:
This “Nobel-Pilsner” is the creation of our brewmaster. He brought special yeast from Bavaria, combined it with Wisconsin barley and the finest Bavarian and American hops. Then employing traditional brewing methods, this Pilsner is finished with a long cold rest in our cellars. Expect this bier to be creamy and full-bodied with a smooth finish.

Honey yellow with a billoughing white head. This is nice enough of a beer--a standard pils aroma lets on a light sweetness and a grape undercurrent. The flavor is sweet, generously hopped, somewhat wheaty and citric, not unlike a witbeer in its own way. Palate slips into a certain thin-ness at times but is resuscitated by its malt base, giving it a creamy richness even after the carbonation has left the glass. It could be mistaken for an American standard, but there are ways in which this rises above. Not many ways if you don't like this style, but it is a high quality example worth trying.

Average appearance, pours with a decent head, but quickly dissipates. Aroma is mostly bready and a little bit sour. Flavour isn't bad, but there's not much to it. Palate is unusually smooth - this is a slightly stronger showing from New Glarus (compared to my earlier ratings).

Apperance is yellowish golden with a white head that is mostly diminishing. Aroma is lightly hoppy and dry. Flavor has decent hop bitterness. Good session beer.

Pleasant aroma, featuring some crackery malt and light honeyish sweetness blended with a moderate amount of floral, spicy, herbal hop. Golden yellow color, properly effervescent with a slight but lasting head. Very nicely balanced flavor, with the flowery, spicy hops, sweetness and faintly grainy maltiness in conjunction from beginning to end, drying slightly on the finish. Body is very light, almost airy, but suitable, with a low amount of effervescence on the palate for the style. Tasty and mellow.

Medium frothy white head golden colour with a cool cascade of many bubles. Lots of barley with some hops in the nose. Crisp and clean mild hops and very vegitative in the taste. Reminds me of fresh vegitables. Medium-full body (quite unusual compared to most pils I have had). Overall, this is very drinkable and pleasant

Nice golden color, small diminishing head, lots of fine lacing. Aroma is malty, flavor and body are full for a pilsner. In general I don't like pilsners, but this one is pretty good (which I would expect from New Glarus).
