COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This “Nobel-Pilsner” is the creation of our brewmaster. He brought special yeast from Bavaria, combined it with Wisconsin barley and the finest Bavarian and American hops. Then employing traditional brewing methods, this Pilsner is finished with a long cold rest in our cellars. Expect this bier to be creamy and full-bodied with a smooth finish.

355mL thanks to sammi and Katie! Pours clear amber. Strange. Weak white foam. Nose is malty, no hoppiness, tea, honey. Taste similar with honey, heavy grain, Sourdough and wheat honey bread. Denser body. Not sure how thin counts as pilsner unless not fresh. Srm wrong, hop content wrong. Stunning underachievement from new Glarus. Disappointing.

JorisPPattyn (7971) - Antwerpen, BELGIUM - SEP 24, 2008
UPDATED: SEP 30, 2008 Clear metallic-golden beer under thick, dense yellowish head with some sparce lace. Cocos, grass, pale & dry malts, whiff of noble hops. Sweet malts, nearly sugary, abound before a very faintly hoppy background, lending it a more neutral finish. Very carbonated, light MF. Sweetness reverts to the long aftertaste. Very classical Pilsener. Thanks, DA!

Bottle. Corn/barley malt aroma. Golden yellow with giant head. Sweet corny barley malt and had flavor. Medium body. Drinkable but a disappointment - more like a mediocre pale lager.
