This beer pours a typical light golden colour. Head is medium sized, off white colour. Aroma is moderately malted with plenty of fruit. Pears, green apple, and celery flavors. Finishes clean and crisp.

Jul 7, 2008 Bottle. Pours a crystal clear bright gold with a thin bubbly head that shows good retention due to the big carbonation. Lacing is sporadic. The smell is dominated by grains, barley mostly, and some floral hops. There is also a sweet bready malt undertone throughout the nose. The taste follows the smell with floral hops up front followed by the sweet malt backbone before a very slight hop bitterness in the finish. Mouthfeel is creamy for the style but still crisp and clean with big carbonation. This is very drinkable and great example of a pils. I could drink this all night on a summer evening.

Jul 5, 2008 From bottle...golden pour with a thin whitish head. Aroma is mostly sweet and grainy with some hop notes mixed in. Flavor is light sweet malt, yeast and some lemon accents mixed in...not complex, but very clean and well done. Very refreshing on the palate, this is a nice session beer from NG.

Jun 30, 2008 Single from Three Cellars Milwaukee. A note to the Forums This beer is why we try brewers and styles we are not impressed with. I have yet to be impressed by New Glarus beers. But this is the first one I have had that I wanted a second bottle of …or third.
Nice lite, crisp and refreshing. Dry with good carbonation.
