Emil (6077), Copenhagen, Denmark Jan 11, 2007 Bottle. A amber beer with a tan head. The aroma is nutty with caramel and chocolate, the taste is a bit dry and also with caramel, nuts and chocolate, a bit arteficial, some hop nots. Medium body with a dry dusty finish. CaptainCougar (4664), Rockville, Maryland, USA Jun 2, 2003 Not very dark for a brown ale, more of an amber/light copper color with a big pillowy white head. Lightly roasted, nutty caramel malt aroma. Light, soft cashew flavor with subtle malty undertones. Body is a little thin, but the finish is a dry, sweet, and satisfying one. This is a good smooth and drinkable session brown ale.
