COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Embrace a classic! Home Town Blonde is an old world style pilsner, assertively hopped with four premium hop varieties. Tettninger, Saaz, Styrian Golding and Strisselspalt varieties all grace this German-style brew with the complex character you enjoy in a classic pilsner. Expect to pour an elegant blonde glass of beer, crowned with a rich head of foam that resonates with our chorus of hops. Although delicate in appearance, our Hometown Blonde has a backbone, but of course that’s no surprise in Wisconsin. Enjoy!

Poured from a 12oz bottle into a Pilsner glass. Brew smells grassy, a little citrusy, with plenty of hop aroma present. Brew has a full, yellow color with just a little bit of haziness and rendered a white 1-inch head made up of fine bubbles--looks quite lush. Taste is grassy and citrusy at the beginning of the sip. The middle of the sip revealed that the brew has a pretty full malt profile and some floral notes! Then you’re left with that perfect bitter and crisp finish. For a Pilsner, the body of the beer is quite ample, but still very refreshing. The mouthfeel has that nice bite of carbonation that doesn’t stick with you too long so you can actually taste the beer. I’ve tasted a few really good pilsners before, but this one tops my personal list. What a great brew! "Never turn your back on your beer."

12 ounce bottle courtesy of AWISLguy, opened 10/16/14. Thanks! Pours a slightly hazy pale yellow with a thin creamy white head. Good head retention. Aroma of grassy, herbal hops, bright citrus, lemon peel, grainy malt. The taste is grassy hops, bready malt, mild dough and toast, hints of apple. Medium bodied, moderate lingering bitterness, good balance. Nice.

Bottle traded by kalthaus223, cheers! Pours a clear pale chardonnay color with very small head that fades to a ring of white bubbles. Aroma is awesome fresh pils: lightly toasted grain, dough, citrus peel, earthy/spicy/grassy hops, biscuity malt, soft rose petals, sweet honey. Taste is gulpable pale doughy malts and faint orange juice with a little lemon-lime character, honey, and earthy hops. Medium carbonation. My glass is emptying quickly. In the vein of great American pilsners like Prima but softer and sweeter. Very tasty.

A large, off-white head with fair lacing. Aromas of bubble gum and vanilla (pleasant). A rather light body, with a creamy texture. Moderate sweetness.

Golden with white head. Awesome noble hop aroma with hints of lemon and crackers. Taste is solid hops spice, crackers and slight fruitiness. Medium body and slightly fizzy. This is an awesome pilsner ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
