COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Embrace a classic! Home Town Blonde is an old world style pilsner, assertively hopped with four premium hop varieties. Tettninger, Saaz, Styrian Golding and Strisselspalt varieties all grace this German-style brew with the complex character you enjoy in a classic pilsner. Expect to pour an elegant blonde glass of beer, crowned with a rich head of foam that resonates with our chorus of hops. Although delicate in appearance, our Hometown Blonde has a backbone, but of course that’s no surprise in Wisconsin. Enjoy!

Bottle pours a pale yellow with a small head, some lace. The aroma is malty and floral. Strong malt backbone, fruity, almost like rose water, and bittered to balance. The body is nice and rich. Overall, not my favorite, but still pretty good.

I'm not a big fan of pilsners. But this is the best I've had. It poured out a bright blonde with a 1.5 inch head that took a minute to go down. Nice lacing. It had a very smooth taste that was also easy on the palate. Nice fruity and citrus undertones make this a very good beer.

Clear banana yellow out of the bottle with a foamy white head that left good lace. Clean, almost lemon citrus nose. Nice soft malt sweetness with smooth mouthfeel. Hints of lemon and berry with a strong hop finish. Very enjoyable beer.

Color is a cloudy pale yellow with a nice medium strength white head that stays kinda puffy thick eventually settling to a skim always present and very tiny spots of lace. Smell is quite unique, smells like fruity pebbles, with nice light fruits of berrys and a light dried bread or cracker-like backing with a trace of hops that lends some notes of mustyness and herbal quality. Taste is quite complex and very interestingly yummy. Straight up easy and soft bready malts up front, so smooth and soft its just a pleasure to let it touch the tongue. Oh so very nice. A touch of fruitish berries hinting with very light grains of wheat and the hops are so pleasingly balanced in with nice even herbal/grassy notions thats very nice on the palette. Very steady and mellow balance with a super nice finish that is a bit like saltine crackers with a light drying with a dash of bread salts like that of dry pretzels. One excellent taste'n Pils!! Feel is a solid medium body with a small kick in the middle, mellowing smooth, lightly crisp and drying finish with lingering saltish drying that sticks around on the sides of the cheeks. Yum, yum, yum, Home Town Blonde in my tum. One very fine German Pils. Another keeper by N.G.!

Golden with lots of bubbles but a small head. Aroma of hops. Smooth and dry with no bitterness. A full bodied pilsener

UPDATED: DEC 7, 2012 Rerate 9 years later: Pours an effervescent medium golden with a puffy white head. Has a fresh clean noble hoppy aroma with some light malty sweetness Flavor is smooth and somewhat robust for a pilsener, mostly dominated by hops, but some malt is noticeable. Very true to style and quite drinkable.

Sparkling gold with a medium frothy head. Malt hop aroma. Pleasantly dry and bitter with a hint of lemon.

Wasn’t expecting the hoppiness from the first initial smell of this one. Beautiful golden hue and light head on this one. Definatley would recommend this one to anyone looking for a tasty pilsener.

Well hopped pilsner, a bit citric. A good session (or Packer game)brew.

Looking at the bubbles on the head from below looks really cool on this beer. Nice golden color with a thick, long lasting head. Citrus aroma, and not a whole lot of taste. A little lemony, but thats about it.
