UPDATED: MAR 1, 2003 A great beer, from a great brewery, which is from a great american city. Good carbonation, with flavor that was mostly sweet and hop like. Damn near fine brew from my guys in lill switzerland.

Very sweet, fruity and floral aroma. Golden in color with a nice frothy tan head. Carbonation is medium/high. Initial flavor is somewhat sweet with a closely following hop bitterness. Aftertaste is dry with a pleasantly lingering hop presence.

UPDATED: NOV 28, 2012 not good-this should have been better-very bitter and thats in a bad way. Very yellow miller look-i would pick Goose Island Summertime over this anyday-New Glarus is a great company, but this is definately not a signature beer for them
RERATE NOV 2012-Its been over 10 yrs since i have had this beer and wow, have my tastes improved. This is a fantastic pils! pours lite crystal clear orange with effervescent carbonation with a big bubble white whispy head. nose is spicy noble hops, cracker like malts, a bit of barn/farmhouse note, grassy-everything you want in a pils! Flavors of big bitter spicy. grassy hops, nice pale cereal/cracker malts. Finish is very long-lots of bitterness for a pils with crisp carbonation lively palate. This is a fine example of the style! perfect marriage of crisp spicy hops and fine pils malt. beautiful!

A very good german pilsner. Nice sharp hops with the malt to back it up. A seasonal which is brewed whenever the brewery has time. The hops this time are a little more asserative then their last effort a few years ago.
