COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Embrace a classic! Home Town Blonde is an old world style pilsner, assertively hopped with four premium hop varieties. Tettninger, Saaz, Styrian Golding and Strisselspalt varieties all grace this German-style brew with the complex character you enjoy in a classic pilsner. Expect to pour an elegant blonde glass of beer, crowned with a rich head of foam that resonates with our chorus of hops. Although delicate in appearance, our Hometown Blonde has a backbone, but of course that’s no surprise in Wisconsin. Enjoy!

It’s been a while since I’ve rated but I’ve got three weeks to gorge in Wisconsin so here goes. Ar. Honey, grassy hops aroma. Ap. slightly foggy, not crystal clear by any means. Small head dissipates quickly. T. Lightly sweet bready, biscuit and moderate bitterness on finish. P. lightish sparkly body. Nice. Rally really nice pilsner.

Very tasty beer here. Well done Dan. Probably one of my favorites from them, especially from their sixers. Really wonderful saaz character with great maltiness to compliment. Keep this one! vote it in!

Pale golden body with a thick, clinging white head. The aroma is light but inviting. Biscuit, hops, and spice. Smooth mouthfeel with nice carbonation towards the end. Flavor is good if not exciting. Semi-sweet up front with cracker and biscuit notes. It finishes with a decent hoppy bite. Another good beer from New Glarus. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12 ounce bottle thanks to cbfobes. Thanks! Pours a lighter copper color with a white head of loosely packed foam. The aroma is floral and grassy, with an almost nutty character hidden beneath the pilsnery sweetness. The taste has a nice fruity sweetness with the dry grassyness of the german hops wrapping the beer up with great precision. This is one delicious pilsener. Thanks again, Brandon!

Bottle: The aroma consists of light lemon, honey, bread, and grass. It pours a transparent gold with a small soapy white head that quickly fades to a thin film outlined by a thicker ring. The flavor starts with a quick dose of honey and lemon. The finish has light-moderate hay, grass, floral notes, and light lemon peel. It’s light bodied with moderate carbonation.
