COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Embrace a classic! Home Town Blonde is an old world style pilsner, assertively hopped with four premium hop varieties. Tettninger, Saaz, Styrian Golding and Strisselspalt varieties all grace this German-style brew with the complex character you enjoy in a classic pilsner. Expect to pour an elegant blonde glass of beer, crowned with a rich head of foam that resonates with our chorus of hops. Although delicate in appearance, our Hometown Blonde has a backbone, but of course that’s no surprise in Wisconsin. Enjoy!

Golden with lots of bubbles but a small head. Aroma of hops. Smooth and dry with no bitterness. A full bodied pilsener

Pours a golden amber with off-white head. Aroma of grains & grass with some mild hoppiness. Flavor follows aroma, but introduces some honey notes and a bitterness on the finish.

Pilsner style aroma with light lemon and hops. Classic pilsner colors with a foamy head. Mild malt and hops flavors, mild bitterness, citrus notes, some hay. Lightly creamy palate, well carbonated and a crisp finish. Balanced towards bitter on the duration, light overall. A good pilsner.

Poured a clean straw yellow body with a small white foam that left some nice lace. Aroma was earthy yeast and subtle sugary hops. Flavors are sweetbread, cookie, sweet white grapes and a mint/menthol finish all acompanied by a nice earthiness through-out.

Clean blonde color with creamy thick head. Smells of bright hops and light malt. Nice hop presence for this pilsner. Balanced nicely with a light malt presence. Palate is light. A nice beer for the style. Thanks to Bockyhorsey for this one.

2-22-08 bottle.
Clear bubbly yellow. Smells malty and quite doughy. Sweet yeast flavor that actually tastes quite like sourdough bread. Not a style that I usually prefer - but this is definitely one of the better pilseners that I have had.

Nice hazey golden pour with medium white head. Tasted nicely of hops and spices. Smooth and refreshing. Nice balanced brew. May buy again.

Light golden color with a 2 finger head that hands around for a while. Slight lacing. Aroma is refreshingly light. A little grain with faint hops. Mouth is thin but the taste is pretty solid. Very easy drinking and better than most German Pilseners out there. Grain dominates the taste with a faint bitterness at the end.

Poured a nice mid-gold with a fine bubbled foamy head. Aroma was of malts with a fruity twinge. Taste was malty and light upfront and then went into a sour/bitter finish. Palate was decent. Overall, this taste more like a pilsner than a true ’blonde’ but it was OK.

12 oz. bottle. Pours a thick, well retained, white head, with some lacing, over a slightly hazy dark yellow (SRM 4) body......nose is slightly sweet, with hints of apple, pear, light cereal....taste is slightly sweet, with hints of pear, apple, finishing with a moderate hop bitterness.....mouth feel light of medium, carbonation high. This is a sweet Pilsner. I wonder if they got the attenuation they wanted. The finishing taste is muddled, and not crisp and clean. BJCP 7/3/12/4/6
