COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Embrace a classic! Home Town Blonde is an old world style pilsner, assertively hopped with four premium hop varieties. Tettninger, Saaz, Styrian Golding and Strisselspalt varieties all grace this German-style brew with the complex character you enjoy in a classic pilsner. Expect to pour an elegant blonde glass of beer, crowned with a rich head of foam that resonates with our chorus of hops. Although delicate in appearance, our Hometown Blonde has a backbone, but of course thatís no surprise in Wisconsin. Enjoy!

Itís been a while since Iíve rated but Iíve got three weeks to gorge in Wisconsin so here goes. Ar. Honey, grassy hops aroma. Ap. slightly foggy, not crystal clear by any means. Small head dissipates quickly. T. Lightly sweet bready, biscuit and moderate bitterness on finish. P. lightish sparkly body. Nice. Rally really nice pilsner.

Bottle shared by beerman6686. Pours a clean clear straight yellow with a fluffy white head. Aroma of grassy hops, grape skins, hay. Taste is light sweetness with a crisp finish. One of the best pilseners I have ever had. Awesome stuff.

Bottle. Golden pour with white head. Smells of malt and hops. Very good flavor for a pilsner ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

A nice light pilsner with flavor. Not as easy to drink as spotted cow. Not as memorable as moon man but another solid NG beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Clean gold pour. Lemon curd and preserved lemon nose. Highly acidic and inlaid with tarragon and wondrous minerals. Biscuit malt and white crackers compose the clean flavor; tangerine and citrus zest outline prescient hop tones. Classic palate that manages crisp texture and soft intangibles together. An excellent example, though name recognition and reputation is certainly involved here.

Bottle. Pours golden with white head. Nose has biscuits, aromatic floral notes of noble hops. Soft carbonation and some mineral texture in the palate. Very clean and balanced flavor profile - breadiness, light herbal notes, just a touch of bitterness in the finish. Excellent German-style pilsner - perhaps the best US rendition Iíve had.

Pour out of 12 oz bottle, clear yellow pour with white head, aroma brought notes of biscuit, bread, lemon, some grass, spice, ncie vanilla, earthy tones in there. Taste is a mix of grassy, earthy, doughy yeast, some bread, biscuit, vanilla, touch of herbs, finishing bitter, dry. Tasty and chuggable, NGs specialty.

Sample pour at the Great Taste of the Midwest. Served out of a cool looking upright barrel cask thing by Dan Cary himself. Clear yellow pour with a white head. Nice crisp old school hop profile. Refreshing!

Pours a nice clear golden color with white head. Come floral notes on the aroma, with grass and citrus on the palate. Not overly complex.

Bottle: † Bright straw yet hazy, small to moderate white frothy head, spotty lacing. † Clean straw/hay on the nose. † A little grassy. † Much the same on the tongue. † Light dryness. † Very smooth and clean, albeit very light too. † I suppose thatís to be expected. † If this is a spring seasonal, its amazing how well it held up. † Tastes fresh. † Body and mouthfeel are moderate. † A little wheaty profile on the exit, lingering straw and hay. † Touch of sweetness too. † Very simple, clean, and well made. † Thanks Bob!
