This IPA poured a mostly clear amber with a lasting head of fluffy beige foam. A small amount of spotty lacing was left around the glass. The aroma of the beer was made up of strong toasted caramel, toffee, pine, and oranges. The flavor was also run by caramel and toffee, along with a mild citrus bitterness. The mouthfeel was medium-bodied with light carbonation. Not all that bitter, but very clean and smooth. Petrucci914 (578), Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jun 7, 2008 About time I get around to rating this.
Pours a deep copper color with a medium creamy white head which fades very quickly and leaves some pretty lacing. Aroma is high in caramel malts with a bit of citrus and piney hops. Taste is piney and citrus hops up front with a decent caramel malt backbone. Well-rounded IPA, not very bitter, but also not very hoppy and fruity either. GJF (498), Cedar Rapids, Iowa, USA

The aroma is quite hoppy and flavor is a nice rich caramel malt balanced with a good dose of piney hops. Big, clean finish. Yumm. IPAaLLtHEwAY (136), La Crosse, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jun 1, 2008 For one i love IPA’s. and this one was not too bad. All around it was a very well rounded beer. color, aroma, taste, palate. Less of an ass kicker than say the dogfish head IPA’s. But good.Im gunna age a bottle or two and see how it matures. | 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Jun 1, 2008 Pours brown to red depending on light, with a beige head. Smells and tastes um... like an IPA. Pretty normal and nothing outstanding about this one. Oranges, and mango, maybe. Good beer, decent IPA. dchmela (1426), Orlando, Florida, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 28, 2008 From the 12oz bottle. Nice copper colored pour with a thick fluffy off white head. Big citrus hop aroma with a slight earthyness. Light malt, grapefruit juice taste. Slight bitter aftertaste. Just an excellent IPA. CaryTheDude (1113), Longmont, Colorado, USA

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | May 21, 2008 Very nicely done, has a green tea like nose, with some herbal hoppiness, some citrus and pine as well. Pretty assertively hoppy, with a light and tame malt background, I wish could have been a little bigger, but superior drinkability here.
