| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Jul 5, 2007 Updated: Sep 29, 2007Orange pour with sunset red highlights, very pretty color. Poor head retention, it would have been beige. The aroma is moderately hoppy, with toasted grains and pleasant fruit scents. The flavor is very nice, with medium-light bitterness, mild sweetness and low acidity. The mouthfeel is very chalky and hard to get down. Low carbonation, medium body. If I had to name one beer that tastes great but is very hard to sip in a carefree manner, this is it. Jmichael (633), Asheville, North Carolina, USA
