Commercial Description:
This Ale is brewed with the best of Old and New World hops. Then we infuse the aging tanks with a dry hop addition of Cascade and East Kent Goldings to bring home the hops! Expect this Ale to pour a glass brimming with rich caramel flavors along with an intense hop aroma

12 oz bottle. Crystal clear topaz with a hilly grey-tan head. Woody grapefruit and brown sugar. Begins dry with subdued carb; slick mouth. Piney orange pith and traces of sour apple. Lemon bread remains. A nice hop hit but not over the top. Nice rustic quality.

Yum! Pours a great deep copper color with a decent head that left some lacing. Citrusy, piney hop aroma, as well as caramel malts. The flavor is a great mix of an awesome hop profile, along with plenty of malt to balance it out. I wish I could get ahold of this more often than I will be able to, because this stuff is good! A beer that any confessed hop head must try.

Thanks to hopdog for this one. Pours a slighty hazy darker copper amber with a medium foamy light tan head that sustained and laced. Aroma of pine, caramel, orange, perfume and a light earthiness. Flavor has even more caramel, pine, nice hop bitterness anda chewy hop feel. A really nice malt/hop balance in this one.

Pours a beautiful red with a brownish head that dissipates to a nice lacing. Aroma is spicey and flavor is a little sweet (berries almost) with a good bitterness to it and a great aftertaste. I love IPA and I love New Glarus.

Nose is treated to a deep caramel hoppy scent. Dark golden appearance with lots of glass clinging bubbles. BIG explosive hoppy taste up front. Taste is less than expected on the way down and less than anticipated bitter ending that cries IPA. A really musty aroma proceeds each mouthful followed by a dry ending. You could drink this stuff with your next head cold. IPA hatters would gag on this stuff, but IPA lover will eat this beer up.

Aroma of fresh floral hops, with some grassy notes and some very light pine. Appears a moderately hazy orange color with no head to speak of. Flavor is predominantly fresh, but subtle hops; as if a very large amount of very mild hops were used. Some grassy notes and some woody flavors. Palate is medium-light, very crisp and refreshing, and with a notable effervescence of fine bubbles. Overall, this is a refreshing and pleasant brew, and it is just a bit greater than the sum of its parts.

Thanks to Beerdrenched for picking this treat up for me. Pours fairly dark bronze with a small tan head. Aroma is very pleasant with very perfumy hops along with bits of citrus and wood. Medium to full body with soft carbonation. Starts with dry frothy caramel malts, almost creamy. The finish is quite dry and had pine / woody hops with a litle bit of malt there to balance things out, but only slightly noticable. Very nice IPA.

Rerating this one. Better than I remembered. Piney taste, perfectly hopped with a little sweetness to balance the bitterness. A very fine ale - and I will be drinking this more frequently.
