Jan 25, 2009 Bottle. Poured a nice amber brown with lots of carbonation. Aroma of fresh hops and grapefruit. Flavor was very good, a nice balance of malt and bitter hops with noticable citrus. Another solid New Glarus offering.

Jan 9, 2009 12oz bottle. Pours a nice amberish color with a quickly fading, slight white head. A somewhat pleasant, not too overwhelming, aroma of different varieties of citrus and fruity hops. Flavor heavy on the malty carmel aspect while nicely integrating the hops into the mix. Nicely carbonated. Very accessible for an ipa. However, not incredibility hoppy for an ipa. Very pleasant, but I wish there were more hops!! What can I say, I’m spoiled year round with all the Two hearted and Furious I can drink. While this is a still a pleasurable ipa that I could drink an assload of, it would not be my first choice.

Jan 5, 2009 12 oz bottle. Pours a carmel-red color with a light head. Strong hoppy aroma and flavor. Body is a pretty thin. Flavor is bitter, but in a good, hoppy way.

Jan 4, 2009 Twelve ounce bottle from a friend. Thanks! Pours a reddish gold color with a medium head. Decent head retention and nice lacing. Tons of different hop notes are here, floral, citrus, resin, earthy, herbal, along with some caramel hops. Taste is citrus, herbal and earthy hops with some grainy malt notes. Full bodied and slightly sticky in texture. Very nice.

Jan 3, 2009 Bottle: Pours an amber color with a thin tan head. Smells of pure hops with a hint of pine and citris. Tastes of bitter hops, but leaves the palate smooth. This would be a great session brew.

Dec 31, 2008 Pours an attractive coppery red with a small whitish head. Scents of fresh hops and citrus meet the nose. The palate is left moist and refreshed, ready for more. Overall a great IPA, mild, yet poised for a night of drinking.

Dec 25, 2008 Bottle Poured an more amber color. An almost overflowing white head. Smell is light hops. Flavors are very light pine and grapefruit. Mouth is slightly bitter. An OK beer but a far cry from the West Coast IPAs I am use to.
