| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Dec 30, 2009 12oz bottle. Pours a clear glowing rich caramel color with a nice fine frothy white head with very sticky lacing. Aroma is strong EKG’s and cascade, I really applaud Dan on this one, the EKG combo works fantastically, some bright honey and caramel sweetness but not overwhelming, light fruitiness and a hint of diacetyl, maybe some oats. Flavor follows exactly, the EKG’s are more present in the flavor though, the malt base is seemingly mellowed by some oats, really great balanced, the hops are featured with just enough of a rich malty base, moderate bright caramel, citrus is light, a bit of butteriness, nice touch of alcohol. Medium bodied, lighter feeling, larger spaced out carbonation, not sticky, just enough maltiness for an IPA to be super tasty and very drinkable. MrChopin (706), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Dec 17, 2009 Bottle thanks to brian23456 (BA)! Copper red body with a foamy white head. Nose is somewhat relaxed with light caramel, toasted biscuit, and faint grassy hop, surprisingly almost no fruit. Green, minty flavor with light hop background and again the caramel and biscuit note. Supremely quaffable but not very enticing.

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 14, 2009 Figured I better rate this one before its discontinued. Pours a clear reddish color with a very slight head. Aroma is dominated by caramel notes, with citrus and pine as well. Taste is full of hop bitterness, but is definitely malt forward, with a minimal aftertaste. Definitely one of the more easier drinking IPAs. wavers1 (181), novato, California, USA

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Oct 27, 2009 I drank this from the bottle into a chalice.
It pours a dark orange, darkest IPA I’ve ever seen. It has a finger size head that is gone quickly, bad retention and retention.
The aroma is light with bite of orange and lots of hops but nothing to strong.
The taste is also light, a little to much so to make it great. The start is very strong citrus which is nice but the hops are really hiddened, they are but not a ton to keep me coming back.
The mouthfeel is light but leaves an ok aftertaste. Its light tasting and hops are soft so it makes it decently drinkable. arkurzynski (107), West Bend, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Oct 19, 2009 Pours deep amber with creamy head that lasts. Aroma is floral, but not as hoppy as I would expect. Good malt characteristics and decent hopping to match. A decent IPA, but as good as some I have tried.
