COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
In playful pursuit of butterflies a Red Fox danced across the brewery hill. His joy so pure it bubbled through our hearts and into this beer. Laughing Fox is a sparkling Kristal Weizen brewed in the Bavarian tradition with 50% Wisconsin wheat in our open top fermenters. Tickle your nose notes of spicy clove and cinnamon abound. Dan’s inspired Weizen interpretation reflects the deep bittersweet color of our Fox’s red coat. Expect this beer to pour a lively effervescent glass thick with creamy foam and bursting with luscious fruity notes on your pallet. This is easy drinking beer perfect for a friendly Wisconsin evening. Relax, this is God’s Country, here we have the strength to reach for the stars and change the world.

Amazing. Wheat balanced with mildly sweet fruitiness. Extremely drinkable, well balanced, clean, delicious

Pour from a 12oz bottle. Thin tan head on dark amber beer, more dark than the taste or aroma would let on. Nose is spicy with a hint of butter or banana. Taste is crisp, refreshing a touch of pepper and banana. Very nice.

Features an average sized creamy light brown head. Interesting licorice and wet leather aroma. Strange flavoring of root beer? Pleasant, but not spectacular.

Bottle. Pours a clear copper with a little white head. Flavor is very bready with banana hints. A refreshing beer

Clear ruby red color with a thick creamy head. Aroma of bananas and vinegar. Taste is sweet and full of caramelized bananas. Mouth is medium bodied. Some vanilla in there too. Nice beer.

Strong cinnamon and clove notes. Tastes very spices but then finishes like a crisp malty hefeweizen. Unique and excellent offering.

Pop cloves and woody banana with a nutmeg earthiness. Creamy mouthfeel with surprisingly conditioned like carbonation. Malts are present but yeast wins this battle. Finish is complex and changing. Unique beer worth trying. ---That dog will hunt!

Thanks to iNBe for this. Captures the qualities of a hefeweizen unlike some other kristallweizens. In addition to banana and clove there is some toffee. Serving: Bottle

bottle.
clear dark amber body, small white head.
soured grains and old, stale corn kernels in the nose.
touches of burnt leaves and milk and black pepper.
watery texturel; thin, light body.
seems like a sour mash wheat, honestly.
little intrigue.

Bummer, this wasn’t so good. New Glarus, I love you but you’re bringing me down. Clear amber pour with a light white head. Some lacing. Nose is banana and brown sugar. Sort of a weird hefe/dubbel taste to me. One of the few NG beers I haven’t been all over. Thanks to CanIHave4Beers for the awesome hook-up.
