3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
12 oz bottle.
IT pours an interesting color for a kristalweizen, it is not a traditional one because I haven’t seen any Kristalweizen that has looked like this. It is nice and clear though.
Smells like a kristal weizen, thought the banana is perhaps a bit overly intense.
The flavor is very kristalweizen-y. It has a slight bit of lemon to go with the banana and clove.
Not super duper true to style, but for the style it isn’t bad.

Bottle from Reilly’s in Madison. Pours a gigantic white head on light orange body. Retained one-half inch of head. Spicy, slightly yeasty aroma. Mouthfeel is a tad above average. Taste is spicy and catchy, a little yeasty. Nothing like I expected, it was most drinkable. Got good cinammon.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
UPDATED: DEC 14, 2011 Bottle @ home, courtesy of bnielsen13. Thanks Brad! Clear copper orange appearance with a big creamy, brown head. Dry wheat malty, a touch metallic, mild clove, lightly spicy, effervescent aroma. A touch tangy, mild orange citrusy, somewhat spicy, clove, dry, wheat malty flavor that again seems fairly metallic. Not a bad session beer but I far prefer its German counterparts.
