A clear golden color with finger of white head. Smells of light pine citrus, floral, honey. Taste is smooth even floral/citrus/pine hop bitter with ample caramel malt backbone. Medium carbonation and mouth. Nice sessionable pale ale with just enough flavor not to overwhelm the palate.

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle, pours a hazy, yellow-orange body with a thin white head. Aroma of citrus hops, apricot, pine, and grass. Taste is similar and much fruitier than expected. However, most of the taste is up-front, and the finish is rather weak and watery.

I haven’t made it to WI in recent years, so I just had to get some New Glarus when in Milwaukee for the weekend last month. I really wanted a good, solid Pale Ale and thought that I couldn’t go wrong with New Glarus, but I was let down. A session pale ale now? While this beer had some decent hop flavors, it was watery and thin and completely unsatisfying. There was not much maltiness at all and each bottle slipped down easily in only 3 or 4 swallows. This beer drank more like a hoppy lager and is probably fine, but just wasn’t what I wanted this time around...

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Golden color with a moderate off-white head and nice lace. Pale malt with minty to herbal hops in the gradually taking over. Light and airy on the tongue. Little bit of malt and light fruit sweetness quickly escorted away by mild citric hops and white pepper. Slightly quenching. Not quite a pale, with a few saison qualities. 3/10

12oz bottle. Pours golden orange with a foamy white head. Aroma is of hops, grass, and pine. Taste is hops, pine, grass, and soap. Lingering grassy hop taste. Mouthfeel is soapy and very carbonated. Not bad at all.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle at the grandparents. Pours clear light golden, subtle bright white head that persists. Nose is great. Graham cracker, pine and apricot notes, simply bright and airy, potent for a pale ale. Slightly lighter bodied but loaded with citrus juicy hop notes and just enough caramel and cracker malt backing to make this a great pale ale

Slight pine smell. Mild hop taste. Just a slightly hoppy ale really. Less intense than an IPA.

This was on tap at my cousins wedding and with free beer and wine I had like 6 pints. Orange yellow beer. Nose is grapefruit and biscuits. Tastes of biscuits, crackers, grapefruit, resin, and floral hops. Standard palate. Nice straight up pale ale. Contributed to great evening of fun.
