Moon Man is a seriously cool cat. Always comfortable in his own skin, he never tries too hard. So cool we named our "no coast" pale ale after him. You hold a session beer with a bright bold blend of five hops that flirt obligingly with the smooth malty backside. Don’t let this one lay around it is brewed to be enjoyed today. Bold and engaging without pretense, because in Wisconsin you do not have to be extreme to be real. Just be.

12 ounce bottle courtesy of blutt59. Thanks! Pours a clear golden color with a fizzy white head. Fair head retention and lacing. Aroma of citrus and earthy hop notes. The taste is citrus hops, particularly lemony, with an herbal finish. Pale malty notes. Medium bodied. Well balanced.

12 oz. bottle from Woodman’s in Madison, WI. Pours pale yellow to light orange with a perfect fluffy white head. Clean grassy hop aroma. The flavor is bitter but not aggressively so. Grapefruit, tangerine, and pine come to mind. Because this is so well balanced this beer is certainly sessionable and could be paired well with several dishes. Nicely done.

Bottle. 12 oz. Split with James and Vin. Pours a slightly hazy, bright golden with a thin, white, lacy head. Aroma of slight funk, fuel, pine, grass, soap suds, lemon and pineapple. Thin bodied with a loose, slick, juicy mouthfeel. Finishes with a citrus splash of flavor and a nice drying on the back of the tongue. Very good pale ale.

12 ounce bottle purchased directly from the brewery. Served in a Belgian goblet. Clear golden color, creamy white head. Grassy, piney and a little citrusy aroma. Lot’s of grassy and piney hop notes. Very dry finish with more grassy hops taste lingering in the mouth. Not much citrusy flavors, but I do pick up a little peachy taste to this. Medium bodied, good carbonation - not overly done. Nice pleasant crispness in the mouth. Overall, a nice session type beer, or a beer that would pair well with seafood and/or a salad

Bottle. Poured into my Lakefront Brewery pint glass pours a clear golden amber color with a small bubbled white head. The aroma of hops is really apparent, not overly piney or citrus but a nice balance slightly leaning toward citrus and lemon. Medium/light mouthfeel. Nice balance between sweet my and hop bitterness. Nice lace on the glass. If I was lookin for a really hoppy apa then I would grab something different but the best thing about this beer is the drinkability. At 5% too, this is a really nice sessionable beer.

12oz Bottle. Nice minty, lemony, and C-hop aroma. A bit of orange and spice. Enjoyable. Pours the darker side of golden, with a finger of soapy coarse off-white head. Flavors seem a little thin. There’s some juicy hop flavor, a touch of toothy grain, and some respectable citrus. I’m really digging the dry, drinkability of this pale ale. I think it could use a touch more flavor density, but otherwise this makes a fine quaffable ale.

Bottle thanks to Kevin. Pours a clear golden color with a medium white head. A hoppy citrus and biscuit nose. A smooth hops filled citrus flavor, some biscuit, honey, enjoyable.
