Moon Man is a seriously cool cat. Always comfortable in his own skin, he never tries too hard. So cool we named our "no coast" pale ale after him. You hold a session beer with a bright bold blend of five hops that flirt obligingly with the smooth malty backside. Donít let this one lay around it is brewed to be enjoyed today. Bold and engaging without pretense, because in Wisconsin you do not have to be extreme to be real. Just be.

Bottle to pint glass. Clear, pale, gold. One finger white head. Citrusy nose. Med body, crisp, clean, a decent standard pale, nothing to get too excited about. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12oz bottle decanted. Aromas of clean pine, grapefruit, lemon. Clean slight bitter flavor, medium hoppiness, light bodied, malty finish. Pours a hazy golden yellow. This beer is mosaic hop dominant.

This was poured into a pint glass. The appearance was a hazy golden orange color. A one finger white foamy head that dissipated within less than thirty seconds leaving some light lacing sticking and then sliding down into the beer. The smell was awesome. Pure light spicy infused sweet citrus blend to bitter pine tones, full and graceful under my nose. The taste was superb as it had the spice combine awesome with the sweet subtly to lead to a semi-wet citrus/dry piney aftertaste and finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fairly decent sessionability about it. The carbonation was somewhat sharp but still good for its style and for me. This one was definitely sessionable and would be exceptional with its respected food. Overall, I say this was an exceptional APA that Iím so glad to have tried.

Bottle pours gold with a thick, persistent head. Baked lemon bread on the nose, soft hops on the palate and marshmallow mouthfeel. Overall, a soft, lemony, flavorful non-bitter PA.

In fairness, it might have been old. MI is not their usual distribution. Bland pale ale. Many MI APAs are better.

Poured two bottles gently into 24oz mug. Nice sweet smell to this one. Hazy gold pour, translucent with steady carbonation though very minimal head. Taste is hops and grapefruit, mild bitter finish. Good APA with a smooth and sudsy mouth feel. I could imagine this one being a staple of theirs.

UPDATED: JAN 13, 2015 12 oz bottle accidentally aged 4 months, poured into a pint glass. The aromas are a pleasant and bright combination of floral, lemon, bread crust, coriander, and pine with a mellow touch of caramel. Itís a slightly hazy, effervescent pale yellow-orange with a rocky, sudsy, and frothy white head that retains quite a bit of creamy head and leaves abundant tight-webbed lace. Itís taste is a medium bitter (flirting with medium high) and a medium sweetness as a secondary note. Itís oily with a fuzzy carbonation. The medium body is full of bittersweet citrus notes starting juicy sweet and caramel notes, and finishing crisp, citrus bitter and pine-like. Itís clean and slightly astringent with slightly dry, bitter citrus aftertaste.
