Moon Man is a seriously cool cat. Always comfortable in his own skin, he never tries too hard. So cool we named our "no coast" pale ale after him. You hold a session beer with a bright bold blend of five hops that flirt obligingly with the smooth malty backside. Don’t let this one lay around it is brewed to be enjoyed today. Bold and engaging without pretense, because in Wisconsin you do not have to be extreme to be real. Just be.

Source: 12 oz bottle from local retailer. Aroma: Moderately powered smell to this beer. The hops smell is prominent, but I also smell a light bit of citrus. Appearance: Very clear pour, color is of light amber. Light white and bubbly head tops the pour. Taste: Hops come through first and foremost but are by no means overpowering. There’s a mildly sweet fruitiness that comes through as well. The two flavors sort of balance each other out and prevent bitterness or sweetness from taking over. Palate: Medium to medium-thin body on this one. Taste doesn’t exactly stick with you, though. Overall: A crisp and tasty "easy drinker". This is the kind of beer I’d want on a hot summer day.

12 oz. bottle, sent from wilco (thanks a lot, Mike), pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out light piney hops, some citrus and subdued tropical fruits. Flavour bursts with tropical fruit upfront, followed by some pine and citrus. Dry biscuity malt in back. Tropical fruitiness lingers on the finish. Really well-made. Excellent pale.

From bottle, the pour is clear and a pale yellow, with a creamy white head. The aroma is citrus and bright. The taste is hoppy but quickly followed by sweet and malty overtones. The finish is slightly sweet, and lightly roasted malts. The mouthfeel is medium.

What a pale ale should be. Light piney hops on the nose. Good balance of caramelly biscuit and light floral, slightly resinous hops. Smooth mouthfeel, with a slightly crisp finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Would be a good light beer option for the summer. Light hops, light color, almost refreshing

Can from TODD! Thanks! A: Semi cloudy orange-gold with a big foamy white head. N: Big grapefruit, pine, and biscuit for starters. Light orange and a hint of lemon. Pineapple far below. Toast and a hint of passionfruit. T: Moderately sweet and bitter. M: Light body, creamy carbonation, no alcohol. O: This is quite a nice pale. It’s bursting with flavor, and I find it a nice compromise of west/east.
